Beautiful 32 acre property in Williamsburg on a working farm. There were deer around as well as cows in the back. Also family dogs and cat roamed around the houses. We stayed in the Tyler Room and were quite comfortable. Breakfast was good and the conversation from the host and other guests was enjoyable. The host family is very gracious...

I booked this B&B because of good reviews of TripAdvisor. This peaceful charming B&B was a gem in the town. The room and cottage was nice and just right decoration for family with children travelers. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was also good. The best thing was the host's hospitality. It was a nice...

We stayed in the Washington cottage with our 3 children on a family trip to the Williamsburg area. Our room was perfect for our big family and it had all the comforts of a minature house. It was such a great change to actually sleep in a real bed while I was on vacation instead of a hard motel bed....

We stayed here for the first few nights of our honeymoon, and we had the perfect start to our life together! We stayed in the Jefferson Cottage and loved it! We never would have known that we were so close to Colonial Williamsburg and all of the touristy stuff surrounding it. In the cottage we seemed to be in our...

We stayed at the War Hill Inn in July and found it to be a delightful place. My husband and I often stay in B&Bs when we travel just the two of us but we almost never do when we travel with our sons (ages 10 and 14). Many B&Bs aren't welcoming to children. War Hill Inn is an exception....

This place is Great, It's very quiet, on a working farm. We just came back from staying in the Jefferson Cottage, When we arrived, we were greeted and shown brochures of area, and given key to the house and cottage. The Cottage is Beautiful and very private, nice tub, stand up shower and beautiful bed. We were brought breakfast to...

What a wonderful find! My wife discovered War Hill Inn by searching online and we were able to do our research using their website - [-]. It looked beautiful on the website but the pictures don't do it justice. The Inn is nestled in a tranquil setting with gorgeous oak trees framing a field populated by Angus cattle (enough to...

What a nice place to stay. The rooms were lovely. Breakfast is served at 8:30am at a large dining room table - family style. We enjoyed the company of the other visitors. If we ever return to the area, we will stay here again.

Very scenic and quiet suroundings, house plesant and clean. Lee family friendly and welcoming. Bedrooms were clean with minimal equipment. Breakfasts were probably typical local cuisine, but creame cheese, french toast sandwiches with hazelnut flavoured coffee is not to european taste first thing in the morning, so a choice would have been prefered.

A bit disappointed with the property, it was not as nice as we expected from the web site. But the people were friendly.
