A really nice place to stay. The staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of the area and attractions, plus will be happy to find any info they do not already know for you. Clean rooms with fridge, microwave, T.V, safe and dining/work table. Not the best location without a car but you can catch the blue line bus...

We stayed at this hotel on Bypass Rd. for 3 nights. The rate was great....... $40 plus tax with AAA. Upon checkout I asked for a survey, as there was not one in my room. They had to look all over the office (no luck) and then went in to about 3 guest rooms to find one. I filled it...

After reading some of the other reviews, I would like to be very specific about the Travelodge we stayed at. The Travelodge was located at 120 Bypass Road in Williamsburg. This hotel was very clean, very quiet and the staff were very nice. We reserved a two-room suite which was wonderful. We arrived in to town early and asked if...

We stayed Oct. 6 2007. We had not booked a hotel and unfortunately few were available on a holiday weekend. This is a motel not a hotel. The Indian chap on reception (manager/owner?) was very welcoming and this place was cheap ($60) but we wouldn't stay here again. When we walked up the outside steel staircase to the room, we...

However, upon arrival, we decided not to stay at this property. Let me first start by saying that the gentleman who runs this property is as nice as they come. We hated to even...

My standard of comparison for budget motels is tent camping, so most llive up to that standard (for one that didn''t, check out the Hernando, Florida, Value Inn, the worst place in the world east of Juarez). With that in mind, I rate this motel as good enough for the price. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but neither is it...

Location at 2225 Richmond Road is across from Olive Garden and close to all things Williamsburg. Great price ($36) and clean, comfortable accomodations. Breakfast included and cheerful help from front desk. Would recommend highly for great value and convenience.

This very basic Travelodge apparently was the Captain John Smith Inn until recently. Williamsburg also has a Travelodge Inn and Suites, which from the outside looked quite nicer than this one. Pros: - Cheap - Clean - Microwave and mini-fridge (!) - Short drive to Colonial Williamsburg - Proximity to decent restaurants and stores - Friendly staff - Seemed safe...
