Ok, I am extremely particular about where I stay and this hotel lived up to my expectations and beyond. The staff were very helpful, welcoming, and hospitable. Our room looked EXACTLY like the pictures on the website(Champagne Room #8). The décor of the hotel was wonderful and very clean. We walked over to the restaurant for lunch on a gorgeous...

More like a B&B than a hotel, this was a wonderful place. The staff didn't know all of the answers but they would found them out and seemed very helpful. The rooms were great and the scenery was beautiful. Although it is located on the premises of a large winery, bring your own snacks and cooler because after 5, the...

Lovely French country hotel in the vineyards of Williamsburg Wines. Free tour and wine tasting. Hotel is filled with gorgeous antiques. Breakfasts, with French croissants and quiche, were tasty and adequate. Dinner was very good and nicely served. Front-desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the hotel needs some attention. It could be a 5 star if rooms were...

4 of my friends and I did a ladies' weekend at the Wedmore Place, which has the feel of an upscale hotel coupled with the quiet and calm of a country inn. The rooms are gorgeous with comfortable beds, beautifully appointed and no two rooms are alike. Continental breakfast plus was provided as part of our stay. I found this...

This is a lovely facility with a few drawbacks. First, the inn has beautiful hard wood floors and doors. So expect sound to travel, and to the extent that you are close to an intersection in one of the hallways or near the elevator, you will hear everything, from footsteps to luggage to complete conversations – at all hours of...

This is a very quaint, cute hotel right next to the Williamsburg Winery. Expect older facilities and interiors. Warning - the pillows on the beds are tiny! Almost laughable. The service is wonderful and the breakfast is tasty. The pool is not impressive at all. The hotel is perfect as a base after a day of wine tasting next door...

Firstly, Marianne is an absolute godsend! We checked in on Friday night, were totally spoilt rotten by everyone, and fell in love with the place. Then on Saturday afternoon, my wife and I got married in the beautiful courtyard by the fountain. It was just perfect!! Marianne had really done herself proud with the decorations. On Sunday we took the...

I was looking for an overnight stop that was unique. This place was just that, colonial and European all mixed together. The room was large filled with an eclectic mix reproduction pieces, kinda what i expected. This hotel of 28 rooms sits on 300 acres that are the Williamsburg Lanyard. We did the tour and tasting fun way to spend...

We found this place online and we thought we try it. Well let me tell you we didn't regret it one little bit. We stayed 4 nights, 2 nights in a classic room (Lombardi) and 2 in a suite (Aquitaine) and both rooms were very well designed and decorated (old European style) and very comfortable. The Aquitaine room is a...

My husband surprised me with a weekend at Wedmore Place for my birthday. I was so beyond impressed with him for finding this place - I've lived in Virginia all of my life and never knew we had this gem right in our back yard! The reserve tour of the winery should have clued me in to what was in...
