We had a wonderful stay and everyone was very helpful. We were there for a friends wedding and it was beautiful. Our room was on the third floor above the outdoor patio, looking over the marina. Highly recommend!

Beautiful room, nice amenities, great staff at check out and check in but.. Our friends were driving up from Portland to meet us for dinner. Due to traffic, etc. they arrived late. The restaurant stops taking orders at 9PM, our friends arrived at 8:45, and we hurriedly ordered. Two orders of Prime Rib (aka Rubber) Two orders of fried oysters...

We arrived late due to delay in Anacortes - we fell into bed and were impressed with quiet & the bed! The staff were all wonderful....although at that hour there was no bell service. It wasn't far from the private parking to the elevator. There was coffee in the room & lobby. We only had the one night & day...

A grand view of Bellingham Bay only interrupted by the pass through fireplace between the bedroom and the beautiful jetted tub. This hotel is extremely romantic, so take your favorite person with you! My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Bellwether in August 2014 and had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the rooms are extremely comfortable ( bedding and pillows fantastic, spa tub was relaxing at the end of the day and the balcony overlooking the harbour was beautiful during the day and especially at sunset)....

We rode our motorcycles to Bellingham to escape the torrid July heat and found the Bellwether to be a welcome respite. While we did not have a water view, the room was extremely well-appointed, with comfortable bed, large soaking tub and separate shower, and fireplace (off for Summer). Despite opening onto the courtyard above the check-in portico, the room was...

The Bellwether is a lovely property, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Sunset Suite which is beautifully appointed, relaxing, comfortable bed, fluffy white robes and over-sized thick towels and the bowl of fresh fruit a delightful surprise. Bellingham isn't anything to take a second look at, but The Bellwether was a lovely respite. Right on the waterfront of Bellingham Bay you have an excellent view of boats, float planes and mountains. Would have given this hotel 5 stars were it not for an underwhelming experience at breakfast. Front desk staff were amazing--very friendly, super helpful. Room was large and clean, if a wee overpriced. Location is stunning for its view and access to nice restaurants within a short walk. But the breakfast was sub par. Food unamazing to say the least.
