I attended a Sasquatch conference last month in September 2016 and needed a place to stay while I was in town. Chewelah, Washington is such a small town and not many options. I choose the Nordlig Motel. It's family owned and run. I called about two months prior to my trip to make a reservation which was easy to make... More

Rooms are very clean and adequately sized, nice desk space, WiFi was fast with good reception at the farthest end of the building, somewhat small bathroom but enough. microwave and small refrigerator were convenient for us. Shower was dripping, but the owner-manager fixed it right away. Try the El Ranchito Restaurant nearby for good mexican food.

This room was so clean we took our shoes off before entering. Newly updated with new carpet, paint, bedding, tv, refrigerator, bathroom floor. Comfortable bed for a quiet sleep. Free breakfast with 4 kinds of homemade muffins, orange juice, and coffee. Friendly owner and nice to cyclists. Short walk to downtown. Definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice place and the only comfortable beds we have found in many years. Very nice and helpful owners. They made sure we had a ground floor room, as my mom doesn't climb stairs anymore. Loved the Bavarian Cream muffins in the morning.

We stayed on the 2nd floor and I believe these rooms have been remodeled. Really cozy and comfortable look with the country quilt. Lots of desk space to lay out my bags. I think they've used the small space perfectly. The shower stall is small but works. One suggestion to the motel would be to put in cheap small shower... More

We came to Chewelah for a ski competition. We stayed two nights at the Nordlig Motel. The owners/mother were very polite. The room itself is older, but very clean. Stayed in a room that had 2 queen beds. Price was great.. Nice to have hot coffee and muffins in breakfast room early. Will stay here again next year.

The Nordlig Motel is a comfy small-town motel with friendly management, competitive rates, and good value for the price. I needed to make a last-minute addition to my reservation, and management made a helpful and seamless transition. Rooms are clean / cozy and come with free wi-fi and TV. If you end up forgetting a toothbrush, deodorant, or other travel... More

My room was very nice and looked well maintained. The motel is an older motel but the room was nicely remodeled. The room is small but well equipped with a work table, 2 cushioned wooded chairs, end tables, microwave, refrig, and flat screen TV with 42 channels. Bed is comfortable with soft pillows. Biggest negative is the small bathroom which... More

We were in Chewelah for my uncles funeral and had a couple of rooms at the motel. In the evenings we didn't have a lot to do besides play cards, so we asked the owners if they could accommodate us with a card table and chairs. Within minutes we were all set up. The rooms were very clean and comfortable... More

An older two story property with outside stairs. Clean and offered all the basic amenities (instant coffee in the room) but a breakfast room offered complimentary coffee juice and muffins. The toilet and shower stall shared a space and anyone overweight would have trouble turning around. And the shower stall was about the size of an old telephone booth. Maintenance... More
