We stayed two nights during the last week of December when much of the island was quiet and many of the restaurants, including the restaurant on site, were closed for the season. We stayed in Room 7 on the upper floor of the lodge (stairs...More
We had not been to Orcas Island and picked this Inn for the information we read online. It is not accurate. This is a dated resort with many issues. We arrived at 8:08 pm on a Sunday and no one was there. The restaurant was...More
A confusing internet booking landed us in the Log Cabin Lodge, not the cabin we were expecting. No kitchen, only a tiny fridge. No one was available to talk to at check-in. So we set up our camp stove on the back porch and made...More
We received a confirmation email that told us to go to the lobby & pick up a paper bag for the room key. We walked into a rundown building with a sign that said "Office" & found some paper bags on the counter, one with...More

Good Cesar salad and everyone liked their other entree. The blackberry dessert was wonderful. The waiter handled a table of 12 very well. A little bit of a hike from the marina. If you are willing you I wait, they will send an old limo...More

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
