Our plan was to arrive at the hotel at 1100 and be rafting on the river by 1230. We stopped at the hotel unloaded our bags in the lobby and the staff moved them to the rooms later in the day. We had a fantastic four hour rafting trip, just a relaxing float down the River. The staff at Red's... More

Don't let the gravel parking lot fool you. The rooms are very well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Try for a room on the second floor, close to the lobby area, for the best views of the Yakima River and the beautiful canyon cliffs rising from the opposite side of the river. It's not unusual to see eagles, osprey and deer.... More

We checked in Sunday night at 4 PM. Only restaurant closed at 4 PM and did not open until Thursday!!! Website shows lovely restaurant, horseback riding, lobby ect. Lobby closed at 5PM, oddest thing ever, no access to elevator or pool table. Outside access to room like a glorified motel. From room you really cannot see the beautiful river but... More

Lovely old fashioned riverside tents, a very pleasant stay. Breakfast at the Lodge a fiasco - 4 people, every plate stone cold, even after the kitchen tried a second time. A lovely setting, spoiled by poor attention to detail. The waiting staff looked embarrassed and waived the bill without asking.

One of the most beautiful lodges I've ever been to. I've had the opportunity to stay here numerous times in the past few years. The lodge has the potential to be a world class destination resort. Though it is small (room wise) the building and suites are stunning. The view and surroundings are second to none. Rooms are also clean... More

This is a beautiful lodge. Their two-bedroom suites are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Its location on the Yakima River makes it so unique and the scenery surrounding the lodge is breathtaking. Great for fly fishing, rafting, hiking, or just relaxing at the pool.

First time visiting this lodge and we had a very nice time. Beautiful lodge and the views were fantastic. We also did a wine pairing dinner and the food was fantastic. It was a cold and clear November weekend but the pool and hot tub were both available to use. Clay pigeon shooting was a great time too. Highly recommend... More

This lodge is beautiful from its perfect outdoor setting in the valley with the Yakima River running right next to it, to the very nice, comforting décor of the lodge itself. The check-in at the front desk was pleasant, the girl even walked us up to our room and pointed out different amenities in the room. Our room was on... More

We stayed twice this summer at this lodge - the first was a "look see" to check out the facility and the second stay was a family reunion. We have also booked for another family gathering for the holidays. Each unit has two bedrooms, 1-1/2 baths, a kitchen and living room area. The property is very well maintained and the... More

If you are traveling to the Yakima River Canyon for a fly fishing adventure, this is a good spot to experience the Canyon. My husband and I spent 2 days fishing the river and instead of staying in Yakima or Ellensburg we decided to stay at the Lodge. It was off season, we were the only people staying at the... More
