This is the perfect place to stay as you enjoy the charming fishing village/waterside destination of Gig Harbor. The rooms are fresh and pleasingly decorated with all the necessary amenities plu gas fireplaces. The BEDS are like sleeping on clouds. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. The hotel is across from the harbor and a short walk to many... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms exceptionally clean and well appointed. Right across the street from the harbor! The glass of wine upon check-in was a special touch. Room size and amenities (like view or patio) do vary, so ask questions! They are very helpful. Nice lobby and photographic artwork as well. Welcoming experience.

My husband and I spent one night at this Inn for his birthday. Having never been to Gig Harbor, this Inn has a superb location for walking around the historic downtown to shops, restaurants, the craft market, marina, park, etc. It was lovely to park the car and not have to drive around finding everything. Yes, the rooms are a... More

In trying to rate this hotel, you have to remember that it is an historic building. With that, you have to know that things are old and possibly not like you might get in a 5 Star hotel recently built. I tried to keep this in mind. First off, every single staff member was absolutely customer service oriented to the... More

The rooms were small, but comfortable. We enjoyed the harbor location - could walk to a variety of breakfast and dinner restaurants. Staff was helpful, but internet was pretty much non existent in the rooms.

My wife and I stayed here the end of March 2014. Our wonderful experience started with check-in. The front desk lady was so nice and friendly. We chatted for 15 minutes and she invited us back after we got settled for a complimentary glass of wine. The room was lovely, with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, a very comfortable king... More

My son and I wanted a getaway somewhere clean, safe, quiet, and near the water. The Maritime Inn has a pleasant retreat feeling. The room we had came with a spa bath and fireplace. We had the option to open the window for. Fresh air and the relaxing sound of seagulls,ca/c, heat, or fireplace warmth. The room was clean, shabby... More

Our group was staying here for business meetings twice in the last month. We found the staff (and we have now been there enough in the last month to meet them all) to be friendly and available. Our room is generously appointed. Wireless is strong. The continental breakfast is generous, Though there is no seating, we congregated on the stairs.... More

I checked in with my teenage daughter and her friend. I was told they had a small room with a queen size bed. When the nice woman held the door open and looked in, she said to the inn keeper, there's only one bed. The inn keeper replied, that's their problem. The room was hot and stuffy. We ran the... More

We are always happy to have our guests write a review of their visit to The Maritime Inn. It helps us to improve our service to all our valued guests. I was somewhat perplexed by this review and certainly very sorry that the guest thought I was rude in any way. All the staff works very hard to make sure... More

My overnight at the Maritime Inn was wonderful. My room was well appointed with a small, cozy sitting area in addition to a most comfortable bed and charming fireplace. The Tides, the room I stayed in, is boardwalk level, across the street from the harbor, offering a wonderful view of boats arriving and departing as well as great people watching,... More
