This restored, heritage hotel was the perfect stay in La Conner. The rooms are lovingly furnished to match the architecture of this beautiful building. Lots of fun shops, museums, and restaurants to walk to and shed that big city stress! The check in was quick, efficient, and friendly. My room overlooked the garden and patio down below. Overall a wonderful...

My wife and I recently stayed here on a Living Social offer. The hotel is small, with only 12 rooms, but is perfect for visiting La Conner. The rooms are not excessively large, but all have an ensuite bathroom, with shower, big towels, and memory foam mattresses. The hotel rooms are on the second floor of a retail building at...

We were in town for one night. The Hotel Planter was perfect for a late arrival, free parking, coffee and tea complimentary just outside our room and walking distance to dinner. We just wished that we could have arrived a bit earlier to enjoy a stroll around town checking out the cute shops. But it's winter and everything closes up...

Old, historic hotel with an interesting history. Updated nicely. Fair warning - the walls are a bit thin so it can get a little noisy, which could be a problem if you're a light sleeper. Regardless, if felt a bit like a little European getaway.... enjoy!

My wife and I had a great stay, with a great view of the Main Street. The hotel was very historic which is what we enjoy. The people working the front desk were very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back to this wonderful little town.

This was our third time staying in this older hotel and we have enjoyed each visit. We picked this hotel over a couple of more modern ones in town for our wedding anniversary get-a-way. There is a long staircase going in that would not make it accessible for some. The room style speaks of the restoration date of the late...

Located right on main street, perfect location to explore this charming little town. The rooms are tastfully updated while keeping the original look and feel of this historical Inn. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the view of the enclosed courtyard with its interesting works of art, thought it was much nicer than looking over Main Street....

I wanted a hotel downtown and convenient to the LaConner Quilt Museum where I was taking a class. The hotel is not like the modern chain hotel/motels found all over the American landscape ... it is a restored historic building. Modernized by the current owners with new heating, plumbing, electricity, etc. The LaConner main street (So. 1st St) is lined...

I was the doing the MS ride in Mt. Vernon and I did not want to drive up from Seattle. So I looked on line and chose the Hotel Planter and was not disappointed. The owners were super nice and my room was clean, up to-date and very spacious. I was able to bring my bike upstairs with no problem....

A pleasant place. One gives the owners applause for saving this historic main street building. It does look a bit tired again inside (like 1980s mauve and dusty blue flowered wallpaper) --but these kinds of projects are expensive. Very nice staff. We had a tiny room on the main street (noisy). Wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night....
