Port Orchard, Washington

Visited during the end of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Public areas are well presented, but the room left a little to be desired. The bed was certainly comfortable, but there were very few horizontal surfaces to put your stuff. That's a bugaboo of mine and not unique to this hotel. There was one suitcase stand in the closet area,...

The inn is centrally located to a wide variety of events and some of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. La Conner has a great downtown with lots of shopping, dining, and viewing options. Only minutes to the tulip fields. Anacortes is only 30 minutes away, where you can catch a ferry out to one of the San Juan...

I shared a room with 2 other woman, lots of towels, a small patio out to the countryside and we all loved the check-in cookies with free tea or coffee in the lobby as well as a cheerful gas fire. The breakfast was included and outstanding with delicious entrée and fruit, cereal, yogurt. We were a group of 12 and...

The Wild Iris Inn was recommended to us by some Louisiana friends the had stayed there recently. We were not disappointed. It is a neat, attractive place. It is in walking distance of the main part of downtown in La Conner. The room is large, clean and very comfortable with a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. The breakfast is fantastic....

One night stay during Skagit County's Tulip Festival. Booked on basis of our stay last year at same time and continued favorable reviews on Trip Advisor. The Wild Iris is not a luxury resort property with boundless amenities and room rates to match. It is a small town in inn providing genuine hospitality and value: clean, comfortable, honest and welcoming...

Checked in on Friday afternoon after visiting the tulips in Mount Vernon. Warm and hospitable Lydia made sure we had what we needed: homemade cookies and a dinner recommendation. Room was a deluxe room with King size bed and a jacuzzi tub in one corner. The bed was, quite possibly, the most comfortable mattress to sleep on, other than my...

This was a surprise birthday five-day stay! Sherry is genuinely welcoming, professional and personable. She sent us off to Our room with AMAZING cookies. Our room was lovely and comfortable and breakfast is wonderful with a buffet of coffee cake, fruits, yogurt and homemade granola THEN a morning entree is served. Sit and relax in the common room by the...

This was the second time we have stayed at the Wild Iris Inn during the tulip season. I can only say that if anything can enhance the experience of seeing the beautiful flowers in bloom, it is staying at this B&B. The service, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff is superb. Our room was spotless, very warm and cozy. We...

This is our second trip to the Wild Iris Inn. We booked late with only the smaller rooms available but the room was nice. Comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was good but served a frittata both days which was unusual - one Mexican, one Italian. Overall though it remains an excellent stay with friendly hosts and within walking distance...

Warm greetings! Thank you for choosing the Wild Iris as a place to stay on your recent travels and we thank you for taking the time to share your review. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the comfy beds. We often do serve our different frittata's especially on the busy weekends as these have been the classic favorite of returning...

Booked this from reviewing the website which did not emphasize the 18 rooms, or the small motel flavor of the place. It touted the upscale toiletries, the two course breakfast, the personal hot tub. This is not a quiet, charming romantic getaway place. Rather a place where people can sleep whilst visiting a very small town, hiking in the area,...

We have recently redone the web page and describe the Wild iris as a boutique inn. A previous reviewer stated "A cozy room with a bed & breakfast feel, but with hotel quality throughout". Our full breakfast is complimentary. Fruit is freshly cut each morning & we ensure a different breakfast daily. The Frittatas are very popular with many guests...
