As advertised, this European style hotel is stage center. Step out the door and you're in town. Our room, a single with queen bed, was very small but well equipped. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and, surprise, a toaster. Included a bottle opener and nice wine glasses - something most motels/hotels don't have. Med was comfortable but mattress felt somewhat lumpy .. or maybe it's just my back. Bathroom small but adequate. But since we're not visiting to stay in a room, it was more than adequate. Leavenworth a fun little town with many restaurants .. we tried a couple "German" restaurants but not impressed but we had a wonderful meal, fantastic service at the Italian restaurant literally right across the street from the Bavarian Ritz. Visconti's I think. The Leavenworth park by the river is an easy walk from the hotel and well worth walking through ... this time of the year the trees are fully decked out in reds, golds and yellows. All in all, the Bavarian Ritz was well worth the money. The only drawback might be that the rooms are all on the second floor ... and there is a lengthy flight of stairs to get up. No elevator. Would not be easy for anyone that has problems with stairs.

I stayed for two nights on the past weekend with a friend for out getaway vacation. Great location, easy and convenient to get around town, and host and cleaning lady are very friendly. Our room looks down the front street and I enjoyed people watching from my window. My friend and I forgot our towel and bath robe there, and the host called and made sure we got everything back before we left town. As a side note, the restaurant downstairs is really good. I would definitely stay there again next time I go to Leavenworth.

Our room looked out over the street, king size bed. There are only stairs in case you can't walk them. Check in was by very nice gentleman, he does leave at 6pm so any requests we had he was accommodating. Room was mostly clean, bedspread had some kind of dried stains so we did not use and folded up in corner. There was a mod crack in the shower stall panel that should be replaced. Only a couple of small shampoos and bar soap were provided in case you need to plan Hotel could use a refresh but surely Covid has squeezed budgets! Location is excellent, walking distance to many shops, pubs, restaurants. Sun deck out back had great views of the hills and river although smoky from the nearby fires. Overall, it was quiet, AC worked well, but the room was a little cramped.

Thank you for the review glad you enjoyed your stay in the hotel, I would like to know what room you were in so I can address the stains on the bedstead, "I am guessing the comforter" and the mod crack in the shower, so please if you don't mind taking a moment and email me at info@bavarianritz.com with your room number you stayed in. Thanks in advance and hope to see you again.

We had the Medieval style room (lovely 4 poster, jacuzzi, 2 window seats with comfy pillows, maroon brocade curtains) on the second floor and it was terrific! VERY clean, beautifully prepared, worn a bit but lovely for all that. Could have used curtains along the top and sides of the 4 Poster bed, as that's what it was made for, but nice staff, good check-in and cleaning crew takes a lot of pride in their work. So great to be right in the thick of the town in a nevertheless quiet room; a delightful Anniversary! Highly recommend it! *Do bring your own toiletries as only soap is provided and unusually quiet due to smoke and heat, so not sure about normal noise level. Outside singer across the street WAS noisy (and terrible), so bring ear plugs. A couples place NOT recommended for on-the-go, kid vacation.

Hi Catherine thank you for the kind words and the complimentary review, I waited a little time to respond to your review till we addressed the couple issues you mentioned to me, and thank you for telling me about them so we can fix them, the bathroom door is fixed, we took care of the broken blind in the window, the wall molding in the other bathroom we are still working on that hopefully will be done by the end of next week. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to see you here soo.
