My daughter and I spent 2 nights in cottage #1 with a king size bed and a private jacuzzi overlooking the meadow behind the cottage. The cottage (and bed) was super comfortable, fairly modern with warm woodwork, has a gas heat fireplace for warmth, walk-in shower, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, 2 of every utensil, and knife for...

Tranquil & congenial describes lovely Lopez Island and also my stay in cottage #5 at Lopez Farm Cottages. Spacious grounds, pastoral views, feel-good animals (sheep, deer, & bunnies) grazing, privacy, immaculate accommodation, and lots of nice touches made for a comfortable quiet stay. Descriptions and explanations on the website are most accurate. Do note that no kids, no pets, and...

Sites 1 and 10A are "Camp Nests". That is, a tent with a mattress in it. We found it a very comfortable mattress; much better than sleeping on the ground. For those unfamiliar with "glamping" the advantage is not needing to bring tent, sleeping bag, and mattress pad. Both nests are close to the parking (closer than the regular tent...

We recently camped for a weekend in site 12 and it was simply magical. The site was well maintained and the hammock was a definite plus. The open air showers were a delightful surprise (actual hot water while camping!) and the coffee was excellent. Being able to sit in front of a roaring outdoor fireplace (firewood is available for a...

This place was very peaceful, but we felt mislead by the website. First of all, unless you are staying in one of the cottages, you are far from "glamping." We stayed in one of the camp "nests," and there was so much to be desired. The site states to just bring your coffee cup, towel and flashlight. Well, the coffee...

Hi Disappointed Guest, We are truly distressed that you had a bad experience. There is no question that our camping standards have suffered recently. My partner Ann and I started Lopez Farm Cottages & Tent Camping 20 years ago and have had a perfect record for a spotless facility. I maintain and develop the physical end of the project while...

A great stopover between other island hopping, Lopez Farm Cottages & Tent Camping had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend. Great Amenities, easy access to town and the ferry. We were able to say hi to John the owner, who was very welcoming. We stayed at campsite 7, which was close to the highway, but traffic was very limited,...

It has been a very private unique experience. Our grown boys stayed in cabin 2 and we stayed in cabin 3. When we arrived, we were surprised and amused by the self check in hut and carts to wheel our luggage to our cottages. We enjoyed this private and quiet country setting! The fireplaces were wonderful way to heat our...

Found the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with my daughters. We rented cottage #1 - loved that it was removed from the others - very secluded...felt like we had the place to our selves. Very neat and clean - dishes for three - but would recommend bringing a bowl, and a electric skillet if you are considering cooking. Rented...

We've been camping at state parks all summer, and are often a bit put off by the incessant noise made by people staying up till all hours. After reading the reviews of this place, we decided to give it a try and see if it was a quiet as made out to be. I'm happy to say that, in our...

Cabins are clean and comfortable. Easy access to ferry and to the rest of the Island. Be prepared, no TV :-), which was fine for us. Resident bunnies are fun to watch, as are the deer. Small fridge and microwave are nice.
