It's a perfectly comfortable hotel and it's right on the ski trails, but I can't figure out how they get away with charge double what other comparable places charge here. The only outstanding thing is the gas fireplace in each room. Apart from that, it's just like the $100/night places - soft pine furniture, cheap-ish furniture and bathroom amenities, crappy...

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy everything the Freestone has to offer. I am surprised that you didn't like the bathroom amenities, we use Molton Brown which is a luxury product, and Seattle's Best coffee in the rooms, but I suppose everyone has their idea of what they like and what they don't....

Our fourth visit to Freestone Inn was again exceptional. Jojo and Chip, managers, have encourage their staff to make each guest feel like family. We arrived on a cold winter afternoon to a warm cozy cabin on the river. Patty at the front desk reminded us of all the Inn has to offer and the bar and restaurant manager, Amy,...

We came to Heli ski and found the treasure of a restaurant at the Freestone Inn. The food was absolutely perfect in every way and served by a very attentive and wonderful server, McKenzie. As a family, we covered quite a few selections on the menu and a couple of appetizers. Every one was 5 star quality. Didn't catch the...

We have been coming to the Freestone for many years. We have not had a bad stay whether in the inn, lodge or the cabins. The grounds with the lake are so beautiful no matter the time of year. The restaurant is amazing and so great to sit out side and enjoy the peace and quite. We always walk the...

The Freestone is set in a gorgeous area, just east of the pass. In August, the surrounding fields were golden. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. When we were there, the clientele was split about 2/3 families and 1/3 couples. The pool was crowded in the a.m., but the afternoons were quieter if you wanted to avoid children...

Thank you for the review! I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I do apologize for your experience this summer at the restaurant, we were experiencing quite a bit of growth, and did experience some growing pains during that time in both server experience and training, and older equipment in the kitchen. We have since remodeled our kitchen...

Great little boutique run by friendly manager Sue who is there to give you friendly service with a big smile. Specializes in stylish Columbia women's clothing at a very good price. Also a great stop for coffee and a snack. Sue was excited to inform us that Jack's Hut will soon be serving PIZZA a BREW taps.

Culinary excellence, mixology expert on site, room specious with fireplace, overlooking peaceful lake in forest setting, superb staff who greeted every interaction with big smiles, clean to my high standards, pristine hot tub, quiet and peaceful. There are not enough superlatives to explain our visit. Will put this resort at top of many trips, in US and Europe.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could've stayed longer. We got breakfast included with our stay, and both mornings were very impressed with how fresh the ingredients were and how tasty our meals were. We also had dinner here one night and although it was pricy it was all worth it. The rooms were gorgeous and clean,...

Thank you for the review, and we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. The fireplaces in the rooms are more decorative than functional, but the fireplace outside can be turned up, and it actually puts out a lot of heat. On your next visit, please let the staff know and we can turn that up for you on...

Stayed at this Inn at the end of my day of the North Cascades Highway Scenic Drive. An Inn with character and very good service. Didn't expect such a big room for two people with a big balcony facing a lake right in front of the balcony!!! It is a must to have a walk around the lake in the...

I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. We stayed in a cabin right next to a roaring creek and left the window open all night to that beautiful sound that made us both sleep sooooo great! The cabins are dog friendly and our canine babies LOVED the walks around the grounds which are beautiful, the lake next to...
