The Acorn was recommended to us by a local for being clean and reasonable and walking distance to food and basic shopping. We found it to all be true but with the amenities being better than the norm. The rooms are nicely furnished not using normal hotel stuff, a decent continental breakfast was available. We met the owner who is...

We had two nights here, accommodation was difficult to find. We were very happy with our room, clean and comfortable, although a little dark and dated. Helpful staff. Very well priced. No hairdryer in the room but asked at the desk and it was no problem to get one. Breakfast was basic but all we needed to start our day.

Not much to look at from the front (dated) but a great location central to everything Oak Harbor has to offer. A really nice clean updated room beautiful furniture and the bed was uber comfortable. As per the other reviews the breakfast sucked and the coffee was of poor quality. The real problem was when we showed up without booking...

This is a nice, clean hotel with personable and polite staff. After driving across country, we didn't know what to expect, but were delighted with the condition of the room, climate control. and maid service. The only reason I didn't rate it a "5" is the the free breakfast consisted of muffins in a rubbermaid container and orange juice in...

My husband is working in the area and his company rented this for him. Our son and I came up and stayed for a week with him for a little vacation. This isn't a review of the main part of the hotel, the 6 bungalow suites directly in back also belong to the Acorn Inn and that's where we stayed....

Paid $79 as advertised, double bedded twin room. Updated with quality furniture, good tv, full cable, HBO. Nice decorating. Free wifi not that stable, but room wired with ethernet, so we set up our computer as a hot spot. Continental breakfast a little sparse -but ok for us-coffee, juice, muffins, bagels and toast. Jam & cream cheese. Needs fruit, but...

Had checked this hotel out on line before arriving and owner honored rate I had seen on line of $69 a night. For the price the value is good. Clean room but as mentioned by others no hairdryer, no coffee maker but there was a fridge which was important to us. The owner is a little quirky and very passionate...

On July the 5th, after searching for a convenient area to stay for exploring whidbey island, I ran across The Acorn Inn. I began booking a fabulous king room for a three night stay @ a rate of 69.99 per night. There had been a sash on the listing showing the rate to be 43 or 45% off. The total...

Rooms & hotel were beautiful, but everything else isn't included unless you ask. No coffee pots in the room (unless you ask) no hair drier (unless you ask) free breakfast is bagels & muffins only, that's not a breakfast...at least not a healthy one. Breakfast area is non existent as well.... 3 chairs in the entry area is all there...

Lots of updating is evident in both the exterior and interior of this conveniently located and very inexpensive motor inn. On arrival we were upgraded to a king room. The furnishings in the room were of an extraordinary quality, particularly when you consider the price we were paying. The room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and a...
