Charlotte's beautiful, craftsman character home is a delightful B&B; furnishings have been lovingly chosen to match the period, and the breakfast was superb, a welcome change from the usual food one experiences while travelling. Had we known, my wife and I would have planned to stay longer, but our brief visit was enjoyed.

My daughters Wedding Party stayed at the B&B for three days recently. The accommodations are beautiful, but the very best part of the time spent was the Innkeeper. Charlotte is beyond fabulous. Incredible baked goods and kindness beyond anything we have ever experienced. She makes you feel at home right from the start. So incredibly grateful for the fabulous hospitality...

My husband and I have stayed at the George Johnson house on more than one occasion, so this review is woefully overdue. On our most recent visit we were joined by our daughter and son-in-law for a rain soaked clam digging adventure. The house is lovingly restored and no detail is spared. From the craftsman light fixtures to the clawfoot...

We spent the New Year's weekend in Ocean Park and the George Johnson House was the perfect location. We were only a few blocks walk to the beach entrance and from there could walk forever. Charlotte, the owner, was such a delight. She was so accommodating and a wonderful baker and cook! We lost power thanks to a tree falling...

I joined friends for New Year's holiday at the George Johnson House and it was perfect. Two of us have teen and pre-teen sons and Charlotte could not have been more gracious and family-friendly. My son liked the house and Charlotte as much as I did, and that is high-praise coming from a teen! We felt welcomed at every turn--playing...

We have traveled the world, my family owns a home in the area ( which was full). We found this fantastic B & B. We will be staying in the future if there is a spot. This is a charming, clean, historic bed and breakfast run by a delightful owner, Charlotte. She is a perfectionist with an eye for detail....

I just spent a wonderful weekend at The George Johnson House. As others have stated, this place is awesome. Charlotte, the owner is an absolute sweetheart! Her breakfasts were to die for and she always had the most delicous baked goods waiting for us. She stays in a guest house behind the B&B so privacy is not an issue. The...

Charlotte is the owner-operator and things couldn't have been better. We were there on thurs and fri nights and it was great. Charlotte cooks a breakfast to die for. She changes the breakfast from day to day and makes enough to feed a small army. Request the eggs benedict, you won't be sorry. Also she doesn't stay in the house...

We spent a wonderful weekend at the George Johnson House, thanks to Charlotte the owner/proprietor who is the personification of hospitality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities a traveler needs. The bed was perfect. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with so much food we didn't need to eat lunch! It's just a quick walk to...

“The tyee room is where we stayed and being at the end of the hall, was very private with our own bath. Very nice. Charlotte does not provide daily room service unless requested. Our two night stay was great without service as she provides well. She provides all the bottled water and chocolate or macaroon snacks you can eat.”
