We heard about Buck Bay Farm through friends who stayed there last year and had a wonderful experience. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our weekend escape! Angie, the proprietor, was a gracious hostess with a warm smile. Our room was lovely and the hot tub was quite relaxing nestled next to a lavendar farm from which...

To say that my friend and I had a bad experience there, is a bit of an understatement. The inn keepers were rather aloof and made us feel as if we were intruding into their lives. On the second night we were there...the owners had a wild drinking...and who knows what...kind of party, and it was still going strong after...

We are extremely sorry to hear that one of our guests experienced an unfortunate stay at our inn. We have never and will never occupy guest rooms and have a party while guests are staying at the inn. Promise. Our quarters are on the ground floor, so I can only imagine that this guest was referring to someone who was...

My family stayed here right before Christmas and had a lovely time. The minute I turned down the driveway I felt pulled into the charm of this place. We were welcomed by two sheep staring at us. The fruit orchard and lavender field flank the sheep's pasture, and a nice green lawn stretches down to a little pond in the...

We wanted to do something last minute for Memorial Day weekend - had been to Orcas Island two years ago, and enjoyed it very much. Now we have an 18-month-old son and we had to find a family-friendly place on the island. This is the only place we could find that welcomed children under 10, and we are sure glad...

Based on mostly TripAdvisor reviews, which had never yet let me down, we picked this B&B for a short stay in October and were sadly disappointed. The owners were nice and the food was indeed very good but we felt that since we were staying just out of season we were not treated as well or as attentively as we...

This guest is right. The particular room they were in had a creaky heater. We have since closed this room during the cooler months of the year so this doesn't happen again. Prior to that season, we had not had guests in that room and didn't know this would be a problem. We did apologize more than once for the...

We loved our stay at Buck Bay Farm. We and our two children stayed in the "Berry Suite", 2 separate rooms with a connecting bath. The rooms were very nice and well-outfitted, including luxurious robes. Breakfasts were excellent and they have a lot of thoughtful extras - the bottomless cookie jar (this is what sold my son), free long-distance calls,...

This is both a wonderful family friendly and romantic haven! Our three year old enjoyed petting the sheep, feeding the deer, and running around with the playful dog. Elegant, beautiful and well kept interiors! The photos posted on [--] are true to life. Romantic hot tub on the grounds. Serene fountain by the entrance to the house. Big windows. Family...

We have traveled to many spots and stayed at a host of Bed & Breakfasts. Buck Bay was eclatic, fun and homey all at the same time. We can't wait to visit again!
