Stayed here as I was in town to photograph a wedding. Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant sadly. Heard it's amazing! Very friendly staff and REALLY appreciated the complimentary drinks in room!!! It's little things like that make it like home.

On a chance comment we made reservations for dinner. #1 restaurant on Orcas - says tripAdvisor for a reason. Fantastic freshly prepared food. Service, ambiance, outdoor seating, views. So glad we visited for this island get away and our last evening meal spent here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would visit again. I had a 2nd floor room which let me keep my porch door open overnight during the beautiful October weather. My brother was one room closer to the restaurant and he commented a little on the noise, which ended by ~10pm. The wifi was enough to check email and update information,... More

This small, cozy hotel surprised us -- excellent rooms, fabulous view of East Sound bay, great service, and excellent food. Great access to the town of East Sound and lot's of nearby hiking, kayaking, etc. Be sure to hang out in the back yard when the staff tosses our the Salmon fish bodies from the kitchen. The eagles wait and... More

I want to start by saying the restaurant is fabulous but the Inn was disappointing. The room is dated and tired with cheap fixtures, linoleum bathroom floor, prefab plastic shower, indoor/outdoor carpet in bedroom and not real clean! The view would have been great but the apple tree had not been trimmed so totally blocked it! It seemed the owners... More

We have been visiting Orcas for over 20 years and this is probably the best place that we have found to stay. The location, view and setting is spectacular, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the food in the resto is great. 9 am breakfast is a bit late and simple (continental) but allows for an early long walk.... This in has comfortable rooms with a welcoming staff. We particularly enjoyed the grounds which consist of an orchard and beautiful views of the bay. The restaurant was outstanding from appetizer to dessert. We would gladly return.

We had a wonderful meal last evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scallop entree was unbelievable and sauce was excellent. My son had the steak with the red wine sauce and it was mouthwatering. Would go back again as I cannot imagine a better meal on the island. Outside setting was perfect looking out over the bay! A true treasure!

This is a beautiful place to stay while on Orcas Island. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The proprietors at the Inn were so welcoming - just lovely people. The location is absolutely stunning, overlooking the water of Ship Bay and in the afternoon we could watch the eagles fly from nearby trees for some fresh fish just feet away... More

This was a good stay with world class food, great view, so-so room and bath, and an awfully exceptional manager-part owner in a guy named Luke. Most staff were friendly and helpful except for departure morning lady that our all alone continental breakfast and checkout seemed to be in her way. Ceiling fan and excuse for it were terrible, and... More
