If your are fans of Debbie Macomber - especially the book and TV series Cedar Cove, you owe it to yourself to visit the town where Macomber is a near industry.
Be sure to visit the (relatively) nearby Debbie Macomber yarn shop and cafe.

You can get to Seattle from Port Orchard via the Washington State Ferry System. There is a passenger ferry between Port Orchard and Bremerton and a Car/Passenger ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. The trip is about an hour... More
You can get to Seattle from Port Orchard via the Washington State Ferry System. There is a passenger ferry between Port Orchard and Bremerton and a Car/Passenger ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. The trip is about an hour. Pike Place Market is about 6 blocks from the Ferry Terminal in Seattle.
There is an Amtrak station approximately 6 blocks south of the Seattle Ferry Terminal and also one in Tacoma.
