During our backpacking trip to Olympic National Park we stayed in all of the lodges with Lake Quinault Lodge being the most expensive. To say it is not worth the money is an understatement. Even though we had a "fireplace room with view" it did...More
I was very lucky I could spent a night in the main building of this Special place. It is a must see; lovely situated on the lake with a beautiful lawn. Inside the lobby is great and give a bit of grandeur. The rooms and...More
When I booked the Lake Quinault Lodge, I was under the mistaken impression from the misleading Aramark website that it was within the boundaries of Olympic National Park. Instead, it is in the Olympic National Forest, which makes a big difference. It is not an...More
The lodge and grounds are beautiful and the nearby Quinault loop trail is very well maintained. We stayed in a fireplace room, which had a nice view of the lake. The beach is perfect for watching the sun set, and the main lodge lobby is...More
The Lodge restaurant is the only decent one in the area - the service is not good. The servers were very slow and they just do not seem to be concerned about providing a great experience for the customer. We had to request several items...More

In terms of room expense, the best time to visit is during the week in the off season which is January through April. Our web site lists special offers which change with the seasons. As occupancy increases the rates tend to go up so weekend prices are usually higher. For a party as large as yours you may want to consider renting the Beverly Suite which is our premium unit. It has two bedrooms, a pull out couch, kitchen, TV and a great view. If you opt for renting Lodge rooms it depends on your needs. We offer the historic building (built in 1926), the Lakeside rooms (more modern with TVs) and the Fireplace rooms (which have a TV and a mini fridge). The largest rooms have two double beds and a pull out couch. If you are bringing a pet, then the "boathouse" rooms are what you'd need. They are also more rustic. Hope this information helps and we hope to see you in the future.
