Buyer beware! After returning from our visit, the owner called informing us that we would be charged for new sheets. He claimed we spilled wine in the bed! Yes we drank wine but not in bed. $60 dollars extra added to our bill.

We had a conversation with the guest as a courtesy before this billing to inform them that red wine on chair cushion had cleaned up successfully but the red wine on linens had not and they will have to be replaced. He asked the replacement cost and said he was ok with that.

This was a one bedroom studio cottage on overlooked Dungeness Bay. It was around an hour's drive to Port Townsend (well worth visiting) and around 30 minutes to the entrance to Olympic National Park (for Hurricane Ridge). The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but it was OK for normal-sized people. Pleased to find quality crockery...

My husband and I spent a two nights at the Dungeness Bay Cottages so that we could run a nearby half marathon. The units are located on a quiet street with gorgeous views of the Straight of Juan de Fuca and the Dungeness Spit. The units are quiet and very well appointed with a comfortable bed, dining table, comfy chairs,...

My husband and I just returned from another restful long weekend at the Dungeness Bay Cottages. We love the views of the strait and how quiet the property is. We spent most of our time relaxing on the grounds and took advantage of the proximity to the Dungeness Spit and the Alder Wood Bistro (our two favorite places!) to make...

We stayed here for 3 nights. My wife spent more time in the room than I. This is a clean quite place to stay. The cottage is across the street from the private beach. The beach is no frills but worth a walk. You are close enough to all the attractions in the area. Don't expect your room to be...

Thank you for the review...Our apologies if you had to ask for fresh towels as that is not our policy. We may have had a mix up as we have a note telling guests to put towels in the shower if they should be replaced. Rest assured all dishes are seriously scrutinized after our guests check out. If it's less...

I was seeking a short getaway with nice views and fresh air, and found it all at Dungeness Bay Cottages. I loved my cozy, comfortable cottage. It was nicer than the photos on the web! Fully stocked kitchen and pristine furnishings, big windows facing the mountains and the water. You get cows in the back and sunsets in front! Plenty...

We frequently stay at the Dungeness Bay cottages. We love seeing the eagles, deer, seals, and the occasional otter. The view is fabulous, with many photo opportunities. The rooms are perfect for my husband and I. We love the quiet, and always return rested and relaxed. We are looking forward to returning this summer. We've visited in every season and...

These cottages all face the ocean view with Canada visible across the water. This is what you are paying to see here, not their private beach. ( More below on that.) Cruise Liners and freight ships were a frequent sight. We saw Eagles in flight daily. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The sunset on one evening was very remarkable...
