So my misadventure began when I tried to book with them a teepee on AirB&B. I got a confirmation and paid. Everything was scheduled! Then a day later I get an email saying that all the teepees are booked, sorry. It was confirmed and I already paid. How is this so?! So they offered me a cabin for $100. Well...

I am sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your stay. When you requested a Tipi reservation on Air BNB we did respond to you and let you know that our Tipis were all booked for your requested dates. We don't have in our records that we confirmed your Tipi reservation at any time. Our resort has a number...

I recently stayed here just to get away for a little bit & despite the horrible reviews I read, I loved it! The most frustrating part of my stay was having to deal with the extremely rude neighbors I had. But I went into the office & spoke with the young man at the front desk & he took care...

We were unsure of what we would find due to previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. They have done a lot of work in putting in new rv slots and as close as we were to the hwy there was very little noise. Dog friendly rv park, same rules apply as anywhere else, keep pets leashed and pick up after...

I always hate to write negative reviews. And usually decide simply not to say anything, but I truly feel like there is some misleading information posted and if you are going to stay here you should have proper expectations. First of all the reservation system is quite confusing. We were told our group was in one area of the park...

We wanted to thank you for your comments. We take our guests feedback very seriously as we work to improve the resort. We do understand that there was some confusion early in the season with our sites and the map on our website not matching. This was an unfortunate situation and equally frustrating for our staff who tried their best...

After reading a previous review entitled “Deplorable”, we were a bit apprehensive about our relative's selection of this place for our family reunion. Our stay at Smokiam ended up being very nice (we stayed in one of their tepees). We particularly enjoyed taking in the free outdoor movie one evening. Some observations: - Soap Lake is a mineral/soda lake -...

Great staff and great accommodations! We rented a teepee and it was amazing! We stayed last year camped and had a great time then and this year topped that! The playground and pool and great relaxing places with the kiddo! We are already planing our next trip!

We had a great Family Reunion this year for our family. The youngest member was 6 months and the oledest was 84 years. The owners and the manager make sure we had everything we needed. The cabins were very clean and the whole staff were friendly. The family members voted this place the best place for a family reunion. We...

The park is undergoing a major renovation. They are adding new deluxe cabins and more RV sites with grass areas. They also have added several Teepee's down near the beach. The pool is looking pretty good now. However there is still a bit of confusion in the office and with the reservations. The existing RV site power/water/sewer connections are really...

Thank you for your comments. Yes we have been working on renovating the resort. The existing RV sites are scheduled for renovation in the fall during which time they will get all new sewer/water and electric systems installed. They will also be made 50% larger and an angled pull through approach with clean new pads an big grass areas for...

❤ Came with a friend to take a brake from city. This is my second time here, and love it. Was here 2 years ago, now they have new owner. The new owner is trying to make the place 100% better then the old one. Staff is friendly and makes you fill like your at home. Love the kayak.

I was expecting what was represented on the Internet. It was not to be. The sites are dirt. The lake stinks and is so disgusting, fish do not live in it. The place is infested with gnats, mosquitos and thousands of dragonflies. The pool is nice, yet over-run with children, uncontrolled. The laundry room stinks and is dirty; I will...

Karin - We truly appreciate your comments. We purchased the RV resort one year ago and have been completely remodeling this 60 year old resort. A construction project of this size does take time and we do understand that is can be frustrating to guests that the improvements are not fully completed yet. We are currently 50% complete with the...
