I really wish I could have reviewed this place, as it was grand looking. But they had lost my reservation, and were completely booked. Seemed like this happened quite a bit, as the lady looked less then shocked. She did help me find another place to stay (luckily) because there was no vacancy just about everywhere we went!

We needed a place to stay after a concert at The Gorge on the way to the Coulee Dam. We scored. This "lodge" is conveniently located right off the main road and consists of log cabins of different sizes. We had the Honeymoon Room, a spacious room with a peaceful rustic atmosphere and all the comforts. The price is absolutely...

Our trip started by flying into Seattle and then driving across Washington to Hells Canyon. We were planning to stay at the Waterville Historic Hotel, but on Sunday before our Tues night reservation, we got a call from the owner to tell us that the smoke was really bad and suggested staying at Soap Lake instead. He suggested the Notaras...

We stayed here on the first night of our vacation in the Mrs. No room. The room was so cozy and neat, we loved looking at all the treasures in the room. My hubby who is picky about where he stays gave it a two thumbs up. After checking out the lake and having dinner, we took a soak in...

My sister and I stayed in the Memories room. Immaculate and quiet. Very nicely decorated and super comfortable. So very restful. We loved the lake. Perfect place for a get away. We have nothing but praise and happiness for our stay.

We stayed one night in one of the "cabins" at Notaras lodge in July. It's a beautiful and well appointed property in the tiny town of soap lake. Not much to do in this little town but heck, people only go there for the lake. The lake is bigger than we expected and most folks just walk right in practically...

My loves and I wanted to go to Soap Lake to celebrate Midsummer. I am thrilled to have found the Notaras Lodge! We were already excited to see our room because of the pictures online but they didn't even do the room justice. The room was spacious, fully appointed and sparkling clean. The jetted tub was gorgeous and you could...

On a trip to visit a relative we spent a night at Notaras Lodge, taking full advantage of the jacuzzi tub full of great mineral water, the oversized room and quiet surroundings. Perhaps a little worn around the edges Notaras Lodge still imparted a bit of frontier atmosphere and the staff we met were very welcoming. As guests of the...

We spent 2 nights in Notaras Lodge recently and overall like everything very much . The cleanliness of facilities , the decorations of the room ,beautiful lake view from the French doors in our room and ability to use healing lake water at the convenience of your room and temperature. The only suggestions that we could give it to have:...

The log cabin rooms are remarkable for their themes and decor but overall the place needs refurbishing. We have been visiting for years but this place is getting tired . . . what was once young is now getting stale. Old vacuum tube tvs with remotes that partly work, window curtains with unhinged pull strings, and a tired bed mattress...
