And just as our first trip we were not disappointed. I booked it as a "romance stay" for 2 days and we arrived on a Monday (the Vine was not open) and the staff quickly and graciously put together a dinner basket complete with candle...More

It was a long drive in terrible weather but totally worth it. The staff was exceptional in both attitude and service. We had dinner at the Vine, it was truly an experience we will never forget. The chef was the a master of his trade,...More
I love this B&B! I have stayed here twice before and it just gets better every time. The rooms are spacious and luxurious-oversized tubs, fireplaces, etc. but it is the little extras that really make the place stand out. I was in the German room...More

We live less than an hour from Cameo but that made it even more perfect. Less time on the road and we still felt like we were worlds away. Our only regret is that we didn't have a chance to enjoy all of the things...More

Not really, it is more for couples. However, I could see kids there if they are very quiet and old enough to understand they should not bother other clients that went there for quiet and romantic getaway (would you like kids yelling around you while you have a romantic getaway?). They could play ping pong and watch movies.

There is really no question here but let me respond nonetheless. Our wine pairings have been between $25 and $30 from the beginning, depending upon the wines we are serving, which is typical for other restaurants we compete with. We introduced wine pairings due to many customers requesting a professional pairing of wines for each course. We feel we are offering a good value for the dollar invested. We also have an excellent wine list from which our guests can choose a bottle or glass of wine and do their own pairing. I have no idea how to respond to the writers comment about treating singles differently than couples. Though we are primarily dedicated to creating a romantic ambiance for couples with our fine dining, pool, yards, gardens, and luxurious lodging, (hence our current 2014 award as Top 10 Romantic Inn in the World) we are pleased to welcome anyone over the age of 18 to Cameo Heights Mansion and our on-site restaurant, The Vine. I can say categorically that there is absolutely no discrimination other than with minors under the age of 18. We have had mother-daughters, single business persons, business retreats, solitary ministers looking for solitude, families, brothers, sisters, families, red hat groups, girl's nights, lots of romantic getaways, anniversaries, and birthdays. We love our guests, whether they come in groups or as singles.
