We stayed at the Eco Park Resort in July 2016 for three nights. The resort is in a lovely, rural setting and is near to the visitor centers and the nearest accommodation to Mount St Helens. We stayed in one of the cabins which was a fun experience. This is not five star luxury, but rustic with separate showers housed...

Close to the mountain but most importantly THE place to learn and find out about what really happened in 1980 from first hand experience of the owner who is an impressive raconteur. Really helpful staff and facilities are basic but clean

80 pistine acres run by the formost expert in tis area. No visitor center can bring this area to life better than the park owners. telephone service is dependant on 2 cell towers and intermittant, keep calling and emailing as we did, it was worth it.

I found Eco Park Resort while trying to find accommodations along the Spirit Lake Hwy, wanting to get as close to Mt. St. Helens as possible for an early start the next day. I only needed one night and thought for sure that trying to reserve only 2 weeks before Memorial Day weekend wasn't going to turn out well. Man,...

Great place to stay. We stayed in a yurt. Plenty of space in the yurt. Nice camp fire to meet new people. Beautiful property. Really enjoyed the trip and will go back to Eco-Park. The best view I have seen of the milkyway in 20 years.

This is the closest accommodation to the blast side of Mt St Helen's and is definitely not for anybody who wants to be pampered. Yes, the cabins are lit by gas light only (and we did have trouble getting ours lit with the striker they provided). Yes, it can get cold at night. Yes, you have to trek to the...

If you are prepared to camp, this is a step up, with one room cabins and beds, but not much else. For us, we were looking for more comfy lodging but had no luck finding it in the Mt. St. Helens area. We ended up at Eco Park, who prefer you book "on the website" even if you walk in...

We had the entire place to ourselves on the nights we stayed in a cabin in mid-week June! It was a nice, quiet stay. The cabin was cozy and warm with a swing to enjoy the outdoors before the mosquitos hit. Bathroom was clean and warm. I imagine this would be a different experience with a park full of other...

Might be OK if you are tenting. We stayed here as nearest accommodation with places available & in easy reach Mt St Helens. We ere in one of the cabins - OK but no cook facilities, and a trudge through the dark to rest roooms. The gates close very early (8pm) so difficult to eat out as there's nowehre near,...

Fun and best way to rough it without the inconvenience of having to do it all yourself. Nice cabin and facilities but overwhelmed by the professionalism of the people owning and running the park. Quiet and no nonsense and great food. I cannot imagine visiting this area without staying here again. The best thing is the little hike from the...
