This is a real gem. Located at the foot of Mt. Adams with a multitude of non-commercial activities at your doorstep (hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain climbing, fishing, snowmobile, etc.), this motel will add to your entire experience. The rooms are large, comfortably appointed with western style furnishings of high quality, and even a rubber duckie for the tub! Staff is...

this was my second stay here, this time with a friend and multiple nights, 4 nights in late October to photograph fall colors in the region. The rooms are beautifully appointed and roomy, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Two things which could be even more comfortable, would be the table legs being shaped different so that one...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful room with gas fireplace, comfortable bed,and nice hot tub. Breakfast is great with waffles, and standard breakfast bar. Our waffles came with huckleberries on them. They allow pets, however after looking through their in room book, and online. It says that the pet rate is $15 but I was charged $20. That would be...

A cozy nook in the great west. This place feels as western as anywhere I've been, and has a spunky personality. From quilts on the beds, to rubber duckies, to wooden toys and rough hewn furniture, it's clear the owners have put a lot of thought into the place. Black and white photos of old Trout Lake are more than...

Owners of the Trout Lake Valley Inn have done a wonderful job keeping this roadside lodge modernized and comfortable. Each room is quite cozy and feels like a "cabin" - which is very appropriate for the surrounding environment that is focused on hiking, fishing, hunting, etc. The highlight of our stay was the made-to-order Sweet Potato Waffles at breakfast. Very...

Our late hunt for deer in the Lewis River Unit was bitter cold and unsuccessful this year. We opted not to spend the night in a tent with the temperatures in the teens. Coming back into Trout Lake, WA we spent the night at this well appointed inn with pinewood furnishings and rustic lodge decor. The local history was documented...

We spent one night at the Trout Lake Valley Inn, and we will definitely be back! The rooms are spacious and very clean. There was a small gas wood stove in the room, which added to the romance and cozy feel. The hosts were friendly and helpful. This is definitely much more than a typical motel! We looked at other...

Very good price for a nice hotel. Quiet and comfortable. Sweet potato waffles topped with huckleberries offered for breakfast. One night the bath towels had a mold scent; another night the towels were fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Incredibly clean and cozy. Tasteful decor and nice amenities. Awesome shower. Nice picnic area and manicured grounds. Owners are friendly and cafe/gift shop are very nice. Didn't stay for the continental breakfast, but it looked tasty. Nice accommodations and very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

From the super friendly staff, the gift shop, the superbly maintained and decorated room, the park like grounds, to the scrumptious waffles....it's all true ! I just found one terrible thing. When it came time to pack and leave I just did'nt want to do it....
