Very nice rooms with fantastic view right on the river and convenient location in town. Checked in at 9 PM, and we were able to walk to Copper Glance for delicious late night meal and drinks. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stopped overnight with group of motorbike enthusiasts. First impressions were of an old wooden cowboy type hotel. The rooms are adequate but basic but the view from the balcony over the river is wonderful with deer clearly in sight. No facilities for dinner nor breakfast but a few eateries in the small town with bakery opening at 0700 each day....

I have to say when you first pull up you have an "Uhh..." moment! It's at the end of town right on the highway but it's built on the side of the hill overlooking the rivers so it's quite a surprise when you get in your room! Decor is made by local artists which is nice. We slept with the...

We only stayed here for one night, but spent as much time as possible on the balcony because the view of the rivers, hills and sky (and even a bit of snow-capped peaks) was so spectacular. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is right in town but the only noise at night was the pleasant sound...

Welcome surprise. Caught out on the road and hours away, this friendly voice message says, "Rio Vista is expecting me and my room will be ready." Felt like a personal concierge. Custom casework and ironwork, freshly aired room with hint of sage, clean and crisp white linens, chairs with table inside as well as chairs on the deck. Hanging space...

we really enjoyed our stay with the balcony over looking the river, room was nice rustic but clean, enjoyed coffee maker and that it is close to town. Saw deer, a bald eagle and lots of ducks. Staff was very friendly

Located within an easy walk from the quaint main street the hotel is located right on the river. The view is truly special. The room has a small deck with a couple of chairs that allows for sitting and enjoying the view. Room very clean and the bed was comfortable.

My wife and I wanted a three day two night getaway in a small town and the Hotel Rio Vista in Winthrop WA fit the bill to a T. The hotel was in a great location and with in walking distance to a great western town. Every room has a view of the river and deer walk by all the...

Hotel Rio Vista is all wood and rustic and pristine. It sits right on the Methow and Chewich Rivers....I mean....RIGHT ON THEM! Our room was ground floor and fronted the swift flowing rivers. Beautiful afternoon and we lingered on the deck watching the rivers and the various waterfowl. The scenery was awesome. The sound of the rushing water was magical....

Nice and close to everything in town so you can park your car and just walk.. Room was especially clean and updated. Enjoyed the screens on the door to balcony and on the window. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
