The Mt. Gardner Inn was a home run! I am very particular about cleanliness and few hotels or inns meet my standards. The Mt. G Inn hit it out of the park! It was super clean; fresh, crisp linens; and had a beautiful view from our balcony. The coverlets on the bed were bright, quilted covers, and were clean! The... More

We recently stayed at the Mt Gardner Inn for the second time. We are retired and love to take road trips with our dog. Lodging that is pet friendly can be a challenge to find. The Mt Gardner Inn takes that to a whole other level. Pet friendly, with lovely rooms ,this small, family- run inn pays great attention to... More

Allison made us feel right at home on our visit to the Mt. Gardner Inn. Our room was quite comfortable, clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds. We loved the location that was a short walk to town. I was so impressed that there was a recycle bin right in the room. Thank you for having dog friendly... More

We have stayed at the Inn many times over the last 3 years since we got our pup. The owners are wonderful and helpful about trails and new restaurants in the area. We have visited in all seasons and is a perfect destination to bring your pet and enjoy skiing or hiking. The owners continue to improve the rooms and... More

They were very friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable...what else could we ask for? Mt. Gardner Inn did not disappoint. They even asked if we wanted wine glasses for our room, we could not say no!

Love this place!!! Stayed in the ptarmigan suite. This is the quietest place we have ever stayed in. Room was spotlessly clean, cozy, with a comfy couch/tv sitting area. Friendly greeting upon check in, and wifi. Would stay here again!! Highly recommend!! Also very close to town.

Allison and Greg had wonderful recommendations for seeing the area and took special care to make our 2 night stay welcoming and enjoyable. Rooms are well appointed and you can tell they took special care in their decorating and cleanliness. A short walk to town with suggestions for restaurants. Thank you for all your considerations. From the time we arrived until our departure the hospitality provided by Allison and Greg was stellar. 2 wonderful nights of relaxation, exploration and adventure in the nearby lakes and mountains surrounding Winthrop. Their suggestions of eateries were spot on for us. Clean and well maintained rooms with the comfort of outside areas to hangout, BBQ, sip a beverage and... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Grouse room (2nd floor, building farthest from the road). It was a bright, clean, quiet, and very comfortable and charming room all around. We enjoyed the balcony view with in-room Starbucks coffee in the AM. Check in and check out were very quick and friendly. The location and large parking lot were great. While... More
