As always Alison and Greg are the BEST! Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms that are clean and comfortable, and they are ready to help in any way to make your stay excellent. We give our highest recommendation!

There is a wsdot webpage that lists historic opening dates. I normally go in winter, but I have been there over Memorial Day weekends a couple times. The weather is typically warm and dry then.
