This place is a dump!!! At check in some dude was asking the staff where the " blond girl from last night is". Staff advised she " moved to hotel down the street". All bedding was covered in YUCK!! And towels were from previous guests. Went to lobby to get either a new room or new linens and there was some shirtless dude sitting at the table counting out large sums of cash. Thanks to Rebecca we got clean linens and towels so we tipped her well. Wyndham clearly does not check in on it's properties. This place is a brothel/crack house!!!!!

This was my 5th time staying at this property and it never disappoints! When I arrived for check-in, it was only a little after 1:00 and the front desk manager politely informed me that check-in time did not begin until 3:00. However, after explaining that I was a Wyndham Rewards member, he did everything possible to let me check in early. He even provided me with a King room on the lower level of the main building, which I had specifically requested upon making my reservation online. Talk about service! When I entered my guest room, everything was nice and clean, the Wi-Fi service worked perfectly, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Of course, the bathroom is extremely small, but I think that's the way it is at most economy hotels. This Travelodge also offers a free continental breakfast every morning, which usually consists of waffles, assorted muffins, cereal, and juice/coffee. The breakfast room is always neat and tidy, so there is no issue with cleanliness at this property. I will certainly return upon my next visit to Beckley and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through for a night...or longer! For the price point, this place can't be beat!

By far, this was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had in my entire existence. I was actually scared, beginning at check-in. There were people hanging out, smoking marijuana, and talking loudly in different areas. I was assigned room 38 and the toilet did not flush and continued to "run" all night. The shower was not properly functioning, so the water temperature would change from burning hot to cold over and over again. It was really uncomfortable to be in, but travel bods must be washed up. The room was barely cleaned and smelled like smoke. The room next door, #39, was a total wreck and the door remained open until we checked out on August 6th at around 9 in the morning. I thought about checking to see if someone may have been sexually assaulted and/or murdered, but it was too dark to make any attempt to investigate the completely wrecked scene. Usually, I stay in the room until the very last minute, but it was just wasn't worth one more minute of poor rest. I am shocked that this is a Wyndham property, because it does not meet your company's standards. When the company gets time, someone should definitely visit this location. For now on, I will be highly skeptical of booking another Wyndham hotel. Stay safe!
