My wife and I booked an overnight stay at the clothing optional Avalon Resort, just outside of Paw Paw, WV in late July of 2015. What a great choice! This was my wife's first visit to a clothing optional facility, but it won't be her last! The folks at the front desk were great and helpful, along with the staff...

(This review will not contain info about the hotel/lodge) I have been to Avalon five times in the past 8 years, the most recent visit being this past June during Fairy Fest. I have only been to Avalon during a festival weekend, so my visits may not reflect non-festival experiences. First, Avalon is clothing optional. You do not have to...

Visited over Memorial Day weekend but could not stay more than one night due to earlier commitments. However, we had wanted to go to Avalon to check it out. Called a week earlier to see about 1 night in a lodge room on the holiday weekend and was offered one of the refurbished rooms with mini-fridge and microwave. Had I...

We visited in April when we were passing though the area, which was our second visit to Avalon after visiting once a couple of summers ago. There's a few things I've come to appreciate about Avalon. First and most importantly, pretty much anything you'd want to do (naked or otherwise) is available here. If the weather is cool or rainy,...

If you are thinking about it, just try it! We had a nice room, a great dinner, met wonderful people who were very welcoming! It was 30 degrees outside and we were able to enjoy swimming, a hot tub, sauna, playing pool, and dancing....all while nude!

We have visited Avalon a few times, both tent camping and day passes. Overall the place is nice. There is plenty to do. Biking, hiking, running, swimming and such. The people are extremely nice. We received an invitation for dinner and bonfire in the campground with a young couple. Be cautious of the leeches, openly looking to swing and the...

Staff are super great attentive folks. Customer service excellent. Beautiful location. Recommend bathrooms in camp area little cleaner. They are gay friendly but recommend advertising it more to bring in some more younger folks. Great place to make very close friends for fun camp fire stories. My wife and I love this place its also kid friendly too. Bring skin...

Avalon Resort is a scenic two hour drive from where we live in Northern VA. My wife and I took advantage of the waived day fees for first time visitors, which is an awesome incentive to check it out by the way. I have to say I was impressed just driving onto the grounds. The road leading up to the...

As long time members and former condo owners at Avalon, it was a delight to return to Avalon during the Bikes, Blues & BBQ weekend. Dramatic improvement has been accomplished in the infrastructure, and service. We were quite frankly astounded at the improvements that new management and a team of dedicated members have accomplished in less than a year since...
