Spent only 3 nights and our group had 2 cabins. Everything is basic so don't expect a Marriott but the cabins were clean and beds very good.

The staff at Pipestem were amazing considering we visited the property before Memorial weekend.We were upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the Bluestone River. Hiking was amazing and is perfect to take in the WV country side!

Love! Love! Love! Room was very clean and comfortable. Indoor pool was awesome! Huge! Food was delicious! Walked every morning on the golf course. Wildlife everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful. 5 star in my book!

I imagine you're talking about the McKeever Lodge? If you go to the Pipestem Resort website, hunt & you should find a virtual tour of a suite. It seems to show a balcony view of the gorge, but when we made our reservation, we specifically asked the person if our room had a view of the gorge. I'd suggest that you do the same.
