Lovely Sunday roast, great food and service. Wide choice and accomdating for children. Friendly staff and a warm welcome! Good twenty minutes between each course, would of been five stars if had more of drink variations..

Having enjoyed an excellent family meal at the Black Lion earlier this year, we decided to go back to mark the end of the season. Mistake. We couldn't fault the beer or wine and the food was good. However, our experience was ruined by an extremely offensive fellow diner who insisted on issuing a stream of expletives at maximum volume....

Called in here for food after an eight mile run in the stunning countryside in the hills behind. Staff were welcoming even to slightly dishevelled athletes. The decor is smart. Nice pint of Purple Moose to start. Enjoyed a large plate of Greek salad which was promptly served and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Our second visit in as many months and again it didn't disappoint. The great choice of vegetarian dishes along with the clean crisp dining area make it a pleasure to eat here. I can thoroughly recommend the pork fillet with roasted veg, cooked to perfection. The staff were great and made this another excellent dining experience at the Blac

We enjoyed a warm Welsh welcome and lovely fresh local food here at Y Blac. The steaks were superb and the accompanying vegetables perfectly cooked. Service was great and the dining room was very attractive, with local art displayed on the walls too. Food was not cheap, but was well worth the money for such high quality local produce. We...

Excellent fresh food and excellent service to match. Highly recommend this restaurant. Fresh vegetables and beef melted in mouth. My husband had the lamb and he said it was delicious with homemade mint sauce.
