despite the financial issues and loosing a substantial portion of the property including the golf course our group of 15 had a great weekend. The cabins/houses are very clean and updated, food was good not great but the prime rib was very tasty. Fishing was ok if you put your hours in but most of all the location and setting was... More

Ross' Teal Lake Lodge is truly a unique resort. Family run for generations, it feels like you have stepped back 50 years upon arrival. Set in a national forest, the resort is nestled among the trees lining Teal Lake. We arrived with two kids under five years of age and they were thrilled to play with the toy trains and... More

My guy and I mulled over what we were going to do over Labor Day weekend. An afternoon down the Wisconsin River evolved into "let's just get out of town for the whole weekend." I have a dog and decided, hmm, instead of leaving him with my mom, let's find a place that I can bring him to. A random... More

We had a delightful 2 nights at this resort. The resort is rustic and we appreciated the dated details of this resort. Not having a tv nor cell service was a real treat. We stayed in Butternut and we enjoyed it very much. The bathroom was updated and very new and nice. The cabin had a main open floor plan... More

My husband and I love the Hayward area and recently found the Quiet Lakes. These are the 3 lakes (Lost Land, Teal and Ghost lakes) in the Chequamegon forest that don't allow jet ski or ski traffic on the lakes; keeping the speed limit to 10mph. Love this! Without the loud boat traffic and the proximity to the forest it... More

I spent parts of several summers at a private residence on Teal Lake several years ago. I was aware of Ross' Teal Lake Lodge, but never had occasion to stay there. I did play golf at Teal Wing a few times and always enjoyed it. I recently had the opportunity to make a return trip to Teal Lake for a... More

Few things you should know ahead of time. The cabins haven't been updated since the 70's, and neither have the amenities. The playground was almost falling apart. My husband and I purchased an online coupon for this resort and were treated like a less than full paying customer. They moved us from a lake front cabin that we had reserved... More

Just spent this last Friday and Saturday night here. Very quiet and relaxing. Was able to relax with our dog in a very rustic setting. Golf course is very challenging and in great shape. Place could use some updates but we were more than happy with the place. Overpriced though for what you actually get. Will return though.

We stayed in Woods Hill, a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with an awesome lake view, for a family reunion with over 40 family members in attendance. The resort and golf course occupy a lovely, wooded peninsula on teal lake. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a cookout and introduced to the bar which was on the honor system... More
