This is a quaint inn. We stayed in the Cape Cod room. Nancy welcomed us warmly and brought microwave popcorn and soda. The room was very clean and so unique. Nancy works hard to make sure everything is in order and that we were taken care of. Great location!!! We spent one day in Galena and then the next in...

The owner, Nancy, was very welcoming, friendly and willing to accommodate any of our needs. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, (with an abundance of pillows). When we were there Nancy was still cleaning up the outdoor areas, yes, I said areas; various places to sit and visit, have coffee or cocktails . . in addition, a gazebo with seating...

The lady who recently took over this place works so hard to make you feel welcome. We stayed here on our Honeymoon (in Le Silo) because we couldn't afford a huge getaway, and it was awesome. She bought us sparkling grape juice because I told her we weren't drinkers, and decorated the room with flower petals. She even gave us...

All the hotels in Dubuque were booked and the Ambrosia was recommended by a desk clerk. We found the hosts to be very friendly and helpful and the accommodations to be well cared for. The hosts boasted the names of several celebrities who have stayed there in the past. We will certainly return the next time we are in the...

We were on a motorcycle trip over Memorial Day Weekend without a room booked. We came across the Ambrosia Inn. Nancy was beyond nice, the place was CLEAN, comfortable and reasonably priced. Giant blueberry muffins for breakfast! My husband and I and another couple really enjoyed our stay.

We had a marvelous time. Our silo was very beautiful and romantic. Nancy made sure we had everything we needed. She even had complimentary wine and chocolates waiting in the room for our Anniversary. I'm definitely returning.

We stayed in one of the cabins at Ambrosia Inn. The cabins are at some points 19 feet apart. Upon arriving, we found a dead wasp on the floor. We overlooked that. My husband found bat droppings in the utility closet....but because there was not another available place to stay within 30 miles, and because he didn't tell me about...

We also found this by accident because Dubuque was booked and after we got there and experienced the sweet hospitality of Nancy and the beauty of this property. We were so happy that it all worked out like it did. The Ambrosia was very clean inside and out with a very nice decor inside the cabin and the grounds was...

My wife and I stayed in the Le Silo after our wedding night. The owner, Nancy, was so accommodating about everything. She allowed me to pick up the key early in the morning and even had flowers and a wedding gift in the room for us. The room itself was very clean and the whirlpool worked very well all in...

We found this gem by accident because everything in Dubuque was booked, LOVE IT! Stayed in the Art Deco. We have gone back for the Silo (You need to be able to do stairs) and the Gazebo (Very romantic) And the food in the local bars is nothing fancy, but Fantastic burgers to boot!
