The hotel has seen better days. Works are currently ongoing which are disrupting both the facilities (my heating wasn't working on first night) and comfort (was woken up by it). Rooms are basic but clean and bed is big. Excellent location, staff were very welcoming, especially Dave & Mary who were top notch. The reception room and bar are extremely...

We traveled around the Lake Michigan recently. This hotel is the worst experience we had, very disappointed. When you found three things don't work in the room and be told "impossible to fix", you just gave up to call the fourth time...

The hotel is very cool. It is old though. Go into it knowing that. The bathtub is great because it is so deep and you can take a good bath in it. The rooms are small but that is to be expected because it is in a city. It is in a good location and the people are very friendly....

We love the Hotel with Lake Michigan views, rooms decorated with the essence of "the Day " , Staff second to none . Accommodating transportation within a 2 mile radius. Pubs and clubs all around Old Towne Milwaukee. Richly decorated lobby and lounge. Amenities included make-up removal tissues. So very cool. My last visit was for business and as I...

I tried booking a reservation online but it wasn't working so that prompted me to call. I first tried their local 414 ph # and it rang & rang, no one answered & no voicemail/machine/put on hold. So I called back on the 800# and a woman answered. I told her about the online reservation option not working to which...

Stayed here once and experienced much the same as everyone else... The old cast iron steam heat noise was nice music to the ears when trying to sleep on a fairly comfortable bed.. The room was so clean it had almost a sterile hospital feel.. I couldn't help but think of all the history and stories the walls could tell.....

I can't remember the last time I was given an actual key at a hotel. It was kind of cute! Room was clear, not big by modern standards but it had everything we needed Be prepared to listen to you neighbors (there are also apartment residents there) playing guitar, singing, or talking. It was not a disruption and ended early...

I was traveling for work so I stayed in a single room. The room was very clean. It has tons of charm and a super deep and wide bathtub great for a soak after a long day of traveling and working. The staff was wonderful! Very helpful, fun to talk to and accommodating. If you drove you do have to...
