The Pfister has been around for a very long time, but they've kept up with the times with their remodels. We stayed in the newer, tower section. The rooms were quite nice, bathroom appointments were beautiful. The only down side we had was on one day, we had to call the front desk several times to get our room made...

Stayed one night. The room was very big and comfortable. Family owned and you can tell. Ate at two of the restaurants and both were excellent. The steak house was incredible. 10 stars and will be back to this great hotel.

There cannot be many hotels in the world with as beautiful of a lobby as this one. Simply gorgeous and steeped in historic charm. The employees wandering about the lobby (not sure their role) were charmingly dressed in suits with tails. They were actively talking about how best to care for their customers. Perhaps to a fault however as each...

Great location and beautiful hotel in a historic building. The rooms are luxurious and the staff is excellent. The lobby area is beautiful and they have a very nice bar there as well. The hotel restaurant is great. You can walk to other restaurants as well or around the downtown area.

Lovely old hotel with refurbished and comfortable rooms. Very thoughtful and attentive service all around. Nothing to point out and many thanks for a great night's sleep and a quiet room. Also, if you get a chance, stay on a concierge floor - the 23rd floor lounge was absolutely fantastic. We'll always stay there from now on.

Top notch hotel. Stayed on the 21st floor. great views and it's worth the upgrade for the 23rd floor lounge. Room service was good and timely. Very comfortable bed, nice shower, wifi speed was acceptable. I stay at a lot of hotels and I would return without hesitation. The spa was really nice too.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, grand elegance describes it perfectly. Our trip was all walking, and we were able to get everywhere in the city we wanted. The lobby area is gorgeous. We had a drink on the top floor and enjoyed the view. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast. My only complaint was the noise while we...

Very large, comfortable rooms. Exceptional service. Reasonable price. Beautiful historic building. Convenient to all sites. Special package including 23rd floor lounge and breakfast is a deal. Pool on top floor has great view. One of the best places we have stayed in anywhere.

This certainly is a hidden treasure. This is a grand historic hotel which has been kept in great condition. The rooms were spacious, I had a 2 room suite on the "classic" side (older part of the hotel) Beds very comfortable, linens great, amenities great, staff and service great. The bar in the main lobby was a very nice addition...

This review is long overdue. The Pfister hotel is one of my favorite hotels. It is centrally located in downtown Milwaukee, absolutely gorgeous, has a very nice swimming pool and a club house, but the best feature of the hotel is customer service. The staff is friendly and for the most part extremely accommodating. I have stayed there at lease...
