This hotel is beautiful! All of the staff were so friendly. Rooms were spacious and the beds were nice and comfy! It is in walking distance to almost everything. We shopped, we ate and we drank, all in walking distance. Be sure to bring a bathing suit to swim in the pool on the top floor with windows overlooking Milwaukee....

The Pfister is a beautiful old hotel, with fantastic friendly service. Our suite was in the original part of the hotel, and was lovely. Just a great experience overall: drinks by the huge fireplace in the old lobby bar; breakfast on the top floor overlooking Lake Michigan; friendly service at the front desk (shout out to Ken!). We were there...

We spent three nights at the Pfister this past weekend. Everything about the place is top notch. Our son's wedding reception was held in the Imperial Ballroom. I can't say enough about this place. From the moment we pulled up in the car to the moment we left there was not one detail left unattended. The bellman, front desk staff,...

The Pfister was built 80 or more years ago, and management stayed in the same family. They housed a significant art collection of Victorian style statues and prints in the hotel common areas. In the 70's, an addition was made to the hotel in the style of that era (a little jarring vs the original hotel--think Joe Namath and Aqua...

"The Pfister Hotel" by far is a well kept secret. I stayed in a suite. I can be considered to be a hotel critic. There are so many things that are None Negotiable. The Pfister met and exceeded my expectation. I will not stay at any other hotel. It took me literally one week to read reviews and search for...

This hotel is incredible and completely changed my impression of Milwaukee. I was here for a meeting and they made a great choice in holding the conference here. The service is incredible and super friendly. The room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom is marble with luxurious towels. I expected a few extra amenities in...

First if you are staying here remember it is a classic hotel. If you can upgrade to the concierge lounge as it is worth it. Rooms are very nice, however not too many drawers to put clothing in. Very big closet to hang up clothes. Wonderful lobby lounge. Close to many places to go and see in Milwaukee such as...

You immediately recognize you are in an historic building when you walk into the lobby. The gilding is not my taste but it makes a statement. The rooms, however, offer an elegant simplicity, with a retro styling. I very much liked the room. Meals have been uniformly good (eaten at Mason Street Grill twice). Convenient location.
