Very nice old-school hotel with inviting Art-Deco decore. The Big Band/Swing Era music playing throughout the hotel really helped give you the feeling you were transported back to this elegant time. Room was nice--liked the Bath and Body Works Stress Relief products !

We stayed for a Saturday night in November in room 402. I recommend this room for quiet and size. The room is huge. Its so big in fact that the tv is almost too far from the beds. Good water pressure in the shower and we loved the fact there is an additional sink outside the bathroom. We thought the... More

The room rate was very attractive and the rooms are clean but just dated. The rooms are generally very large and the food is very good. There are very few television channels available in the room. Hotel is interesting from an architectural and historical standpoint

Hotel full of character, you can visualize all the happenings in the 20's. Rooms very clean as well as hotel. Staff accomodating, professional and overall pleasant. Great appetizers in bqr, and had a delishous breakfast. Loved many restaurants just a walk away. Will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Virtually the entite family headed to MKE for the party. The Ambassador did not disappoint and in fact surpassed expectation--as it has on each occasion over the past 10 years. Ambassador staff: Stand in the mirror and dig yourselves.

This was our fourth stay. The hotel has the old world class and ambiance of the Pfister at half the price. I love this hotel...one of my favorites after years of traveling in the U.S.& Europe. It just happens to be ideally suited location wise for any Milwaukee activity, easy on and off the interstate, near the Marquette campus, downtown,... More

This was our first stay at The Ambassador, but certainly not our last. Minutes from downtown and walking distance to several sights worth seeing, this lovely hotel was far more than we expected. The rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable with many amenities and wonderful staff. Tiffany, with housekeeping, came around in the morning to see if we were... More

Service was okay, the food and drinks with good, and the overall feel and look of the place is nice. I was there, however, to celebrate a birthday and purchased a package that included a room upgrade and dinner for two. The room was nice - no complaints. However, the "dinner for two" consisted of a $35 credit on my... More
