My experience at this hotel is mixed. First of all the inside of the hotel is stunning. We wanted a weekend away and booked a night in Lake Geneva for the first night our second night in Milwaukee to go to a Cubs/Brewers game. We were glad because the hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the game. We...

I stayed here April 4th for one night with my friend. We were in town for the Sam Hunt concert at the Rave which is right down the street. The place is small and doesn't have a whole lot to offer but all I was looking for was a clean comfy place to to sleep. And thats exactly what I...

This is the little sister (budget) to the Ambassador Hotel across the street (fyi $40-50 difference between the best quotes I got). Reading the prior reviews made me wonder what I was getting into. All in all I was please with it and would go back again. We were there for a 2 day visit to Marquette (The Hotel and...

Overall, the property is nice. The staff were friendly and willing to assist the customer any way they could. The complementary breakfast was quite pathetic. The coffee tasted several hours old, and the juices were more water than juice. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean.

We stayed at the INN across the road from the Hotel. The room was on the 3rd floor and it was pretty big. Beds were OK. The lift held 2 people and was real slow! Apart from that it was on the whole ok. TV was limited in terms of channels. The hotel offers a free shuttle service for local...

We weren't in the main hotel but the one across the street from the restaurant, like an annex. It was graduation weekend and rooms were hard to find. The birthday party downstairs thumped well into 1 am. The annex is dated a little seedy to boot.

We stayed at the Ambassador during Triathlon Nationals. Be aware that pictures posted show a room at the Ambassador INN while others (lobby, lounge, coffee shop) posted by the management are of the Ambassador HOTEL (just had a $14 million renovation) across the road. Parking is $10 daily even though it's advertised as free on Expedia. Wifi is free. Inn...

I stayed here during a business trip last week for three nights, and was not aware that I had been booked in the Inn until the day before I flew into Milwaukee. The Ambassador Hotel across the street is very nice, and this is the "budget friendly" sister hotel. If I had a sister like this, though, I wouldn't be...

Long story short..... WORST HOTEL IN THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE. If you want good service, try to book ANYWHERE but this hotel. Long story - I live on the east coast and I booked a night at the Ambassador Inn approximately 2 months in advance using a credit card. About a month before my reserved date, there were some fraudulent...

Arrived around 10PM on a Friday night, greeted by friendly concierge. Room was as advertised, clean, with nice amenities. Breakfast room was quite small, but contained adequate provisions. There is a heavy Marquette student presence in the immediate area, and some somewhat shady characters as well. Several bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walking. Inn is within walking distance...
