Very cute hotel, older but well kept. Very friendly service. We enjoyed our visit. The neighborhood was also very safe. Enjoyed a walk to the lake in the morning which was only about four blocks away.

Room was clean, roomy, and the staff was very friendly. The cafe food was exceptional. Very good friendly service staff made our stay a pleasant one. I liked that there was ample parking in the 2 lots owned by the hotel for a reasonable fee per night. The hotel is very close to many sites of the city of Milwaukee....

Rooms are ok. Bathroom is very small with no counter space. No air conditioning or at least controls in room so rooms are hot. No late check out even for a couple hours on s Sunday of Marquette graduation without a fee. Really?! Did you have more guests on a random Sunday after graduation? Slow service for average food in...

Good location and the overall feel of the hotel is cool since it takes you back in time. The radiator continued to go off throughout the night and we did not sleep well. The room itself has a lot of space and kitchenette feature is nice. While the food tasted good, the service itself was very slow (we ordered bagels...

A wonderful location with the feeling of an old Milwaukee hotel.. A little kitchenette that could easily accommodate the delicious offerings from a nearby upscale grocery store.A wonderful cafe. A safe neighborhood to easily stroll down to Lake Michigan and Juneau Park. An exquisite area to explore for its architecture. Easily accessible to freeways.

Stayed here for business. Good rate quality ratio and very well located nearby centre of Milwaukee. The bed was very good even as the shower. Possibility to have breakfast in the hotel; no dinner. The crew was friendly, the rooms were clean.

LOved the full kitchen. We really liked the old building ambiance, but were pretty shocked to find that the room had no air conditioning! They did provide a window AC unit upon request. The other thing which we didn't notice at first while looking over the website was that the Plaza has no elevators. That fact is mentioned somewhere on...

For the time of year we were traveling in Milwaukee (May 9-11, 2017), we were hard-pressed to find a better located, cost-effective hotel option than The Plaza Hotel. We enjoyed being near to E Brady Street and downtown, and the breakfast counter @ the Plaza attracted quite a crowd for good reason.

The Plaza is a totally amazing jewel of a hotel. I have stayed at many hotels in historic buildings where everything above the lobby is just another generic corporate hotel room. Not here. The Plaza is not a restoration or reproduction of anything. It's the real deal. The doors and much of the door hardware are the 1925 originals. You...
