The Helvetica Inn B&B is a big, clean, 2 story house that is within walking distance of downtown. The owner lives on site and is about as friendly and helpful as they come, while still giving you space and privacy. She cooks the breakfast herself and does a great job. They have 2 large friendly dogs that roam the house....

Traveled with another couple and had a private room upstairs with a shared connecting "living room". Very clean, cozy... walk to town or rent a bike for $9 at the Visitor Center. As for our host, Lynda... more like an old friend than a host. She actually enjoys having guests. The 2 golden doodle dogs are very well behaved. I...

We stayed here the same weekend that Ashley H. did, which also happened to be both Labor Day weekend and New Glarus' Wilhelm Tell Festival. My husband and I stayed in the newest room at the Inn; I can't remember it's name, but it's smaller than the other rooms - yet we were still very comfortable. Lynda is lovely, and...

My mom and I were on a vacation together and it was just a lovely place in New Glarus at Helvetica Inn. The house is so cute and very welcoming! Lynda is a neat lady and takes great care of her guests! She makes very yummy breakfast, too! The home is 10 minutes walking distance to all the downtown activities...

We stayed one night at the Helvetica Inn and it was wonderful. Clean, friendly and very cozy. We do not usually stay in Bed and Breakfast but after staying at this one I am sure we will try it again. It was very much worth the money. Very affordable and very conveniently located to the bike trails and walking distance...

This is by far the best bed and breakfast in Wisconsin. Lynda provides a beautiful home with all ammenities as well as a flexible schedule. She is a wonderful person to talk to and will do everything to make you feel right at home! (she had flowers waiting for us upon our last stay.) We spent a honeymoon trip here...

It's like coming home! Beautifully restored old Swiss home from the mid-1850's - rooms are clean and well appointed. Price is VERY reasonable compared to other area inns and the innkeeper is such a wonderful, charming and knowledgeable woman. Definitely don't miss this treasure, it will make your whole trip like it did mine!

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone! Lynda was incredibly sweet and hospitable! Great location close to New Glarus downtown and a little over a mile to the New Glarus Brewery. VERY cute place! A wonderful romantic getaway. Would definitely return!!

“We stayed in the Gerber Suite, which was very nice. They have a Hoesly Suite with its own private entrance which would be great for a couple passing through for a night or on their honeymoon.”
