We had a very noisy room (225) with deep vibrant AC noise from other rooms during the whole night. The hotel is ok, but the rooms clearly need an update and it is overpriced. We didn't test the restaurant, but the menu looks great. Check the other hotels in town before booking here.

I have been coming to New Glarus since I was a kid and Landhaus was always a great place to stay. However, the past several years, the accommodations have gone downhill. The interior really needs to be updated and cleaned. I love the town of New Glarus, but I would recommend staying in a nearby town like Verona or Monroe...

I liked this place because it reminded me of a hotel we stayed at in Germany. Our room was clean, but it was a little dated like some others have said. That didn't bother me too much, because we had biked 60 miles that day and it was comfortable. This hotel is located right on a bike trail, too, and...

We stayed in a whirlpool suite at the Chalet Landhaus for our Anniversary. The room was spacious and the whirlpool was nice. We had a balcony, but not all of the rooms do. As other reviewers have said, the room decor is very dated, however, everything was clean and functional. For how much they charge though, I'd hope an update...

The good is: It is cute from the outside. Get out of the car, take a picture with the cows and if it is morning, have breakfast. The bad: old and outdated. Lace dusty curtains. They had lime green toliets. The moldy: The celing in the bathroom was moldy. It rained, and the mold spores came alive. It was very...

This place is a DUMP !!!! We stayed here for one night and it was $217 . What a waste of money we could have stayed at a holiday inn express for half the price and had a much better stay !!! Our room was on the 3rd floor and they didn't even have an elevator that went to our...

Facade remenicent of Switzerland. Located on a major road heading north and south through farmland in Winsconsin you will find this quaint town. The staff were all friendly and willing to lend a hand. Rooms were clean. We stayed on the East (side facing the highway) which maybe a bit noisy with the road (we found it to be ok)...

We stayed here this weekend for a family wedding. Upon arrival we discovered that everyone in our group had different rates varying from around $100 to over $150 for the same style of room, under the same wedding block rate and the same nights stayed. At check out we decided to ask what the issue was and why they were...

We stayed here with another couple for a weekend in March. The taste and your package was great-cheese and crackrrsyaling with a six pack of new glarus beer in the room upon arrival, $40 off dinner at the hotel or restaurant down the street (which was great), new glarus tour and tasting all for a great price! Also included breakfast...

Stayed here while attending a Birthday get-together in one of the conference rooms. Great hotel set-up decorated in Swiss charm. Loved the old-world country feel! The service and management was very welcoming as you would expect a small town like New Glarus. Lots of nice shops nearby, as well as golf, biking and the New Glarus Brewery -- home of...
