This was our first visit to Barend Holiday Village. We arrived on a very cold November evening after a long drive and it was so welcoming to find the Lodge we were staying in to be lovely and warm, well equipped and comfortable. The staff on the site are very obliging and we found the pub cosy and the food...

Had a great fortnight stay in no.60 with friends and family. We all had a wonderful time exploring the area and finding some new places to visit. I can strongly recommend a holiday here, we are regular visitors and will be back next year.

Returned to Barend , been coming for many years !!!! Peaceful, serene and perfect - we love it. Chalet 22 had everything we needed ( apart from a sieve !) kitchen is small but we are very familiar with that. No complaints at all , pool is small but adequate. Night sky was beautiful, badgers obliged by coming beneath our...

Very reasonable. Quiet and relaxed site. Young kids loved it. Cabin was a bit dated in kitchen / decor, however very clean and comfortable; not sure if all cabins are the same. Would definitely return.

For once, such a description is meant in a highly positive way. We have been visiting Barend as a family for 32 years, about once a year. We started with our two very young children, then the three of them. We came with friends and groups of friends, February and October half-terms, Spring and New Years holidays. Now we bring...

We had a wonderful family break where everything exceeded our expectations. Our chalet was beautiful and so well equipped. I cannot fault a thing. The site is very dog friendly too and plenty places to walk. So close to the beach at Sandyhills. On site restuarant and bar great too!! Can't wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at Barend with the kids. Nice chalet which the kids loved. Good location for trips. The pool is small but was more than adequate for the kids. Only criticism is having to pay extra for extra people. If I have a chalet that sleeps 8 I would expects there to be a price that includes...

Great weather so were able to make the most of the dark skies and see an amazing night time spectacle! Also lucky enough to see the badgers making the most of the peanuts we put under our...
