The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and vibe with a brilliant lay out. The Guinea fowl main is a must try dish! Like all the Cambs Cuisine venues it's very good value for money! My only negative was with the soup of the day it didn't come with any bread. Will definitely be coming back and here is a...

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely, friendly hotel. Our room was very well furnished - clean, warm, comfortable, lots of sockets (hairdryer/chargers etc) - with bottled water and tea/coffee making facilities. The shower was fantastic - hot water and lots of it! Excellent WiFi. Plenty of car parking space. We had breakfasts and 2 evening meals which were...

Could not fault the rooms, friendly staff on arrival and the rooms were very clean and finished to a high standard. I ate in the resturant, the food was too a very high standard and I would certainly order the scallops again! The food is rather expensive but this could be down to the pub being in a rather quiet...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were impressed at the quality of the rooms and the service we received. Rooms were very well thought out. Great showers, comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had booked bed and breakfast (the poached smoked haddock was delightful) but decided to...

Friday to Sunday break and one that exceeded expectations, and as such would recommend here if you are looking to stay in the local area. Marc and his team provided a very warm professional experience with nothing too much trouble. Friday Evening Meal- lovely ambience in the pub, fire roaring to take that slight chill off, and both service and...

We went for family lunch here, some of us had been previously and the food had been very good. Even though we were only 10 people in the group we were asked to pre-order, not a problem as it should have allowed the kitchen to be organised and ready. However that was not the case. They had overlooked a number...

I hade previously been to this restaurant twice and had excellent meals and service on both occasions. On my most recent visit the food was good but not up to the previous standard. Specifically the smoke detector haddock was dry and served on a mountain of potatoe, which was overcooked. A pity because this is an attractive and friendly place.

Nice location for touring Cambridge and surrounding area. If you are feeling energetic, Cambridge is walkable via the Fens River Way. Couldn't fault the rooms or food and staff really make an effort so a good choice all round.

I organised a company meal and the staff there were fantastic. Even before getting to the restaurant . We didn't have to pay a deposit. I had to change the number of guests and orders a few times put it all went very well. Brilliant service, the food was really good and the bill was very reasonable. Greatly recommended.
