This was a lovely quiet location, away from busy Queenstown, which was still an easy drive away. The gardens at Manata Lodge are fabulous and it was nice having a patio with table and chairs outside our room. The host was most welcoming and helpful. My only criticism is that I found the bed and pillow hard and it was...

We travelled with our two children and my mother and stayed in the Wakatipu suite, which joined onto the La Grand Dame suite (optional) where my mother stayed. It was very handy having the interconnecting rooms and the kids enjoyed having Grandma next door. Rooms were lovely and large, well cared for and homely. Lovely couch and good kitchen facilities....

Thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this high quality accommodation, the 'Pavilion', with great attention to detail. We particularly like staying in beautiful surroundings - Manata Lodge is set amidst lovely grounds with outdoor eating areas to enjoy alfresco meals and a glass of wine and has stunning views of Coronet Peak. The perfect haven. We did a couple of early...

Unbeatable: Location, suite, view, lawns, service - everything. My partner and I stayed 5 fabulous nights. Staff and owners (Ethel and Warren) could not have been more supportive and responsive to our (many) requests for non-standard things. one of the best choices we have ever made re holiday accommodation.

Whilst the title says everything about the physical side of our stay, communication by the owners left much to be desired. When we arrived there were long black hairs left on the wall of the shower cubicle. On our second day a Put-you-up bed was dumped in the wardrobe full of our wedding clothes without any communication. When it came...

I'm sorry it has taken a while to think about our response to this review because, frankly, it has come from out of the blue. We all felt that we had a good relationship with these guests, we saw them frequently throughout their stay and not once did they express any dissatisfaction with any part of their visit, accommodations, or...

We were a party of 6 including 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 young children and we stayed 2 nights at this facility. My husband and I had The Grand Dame suite which was extremely spacious and excellently-well appointed. The grounds were super and the location was very quiet and relaxing.

Room was great; you feel like you own your own home in such a stunning place! Views outside are phenomenal; place is peaceful and quiet. Able to do what you want and live as if it is your own! Would be good to have a few more amenities/"bits/staples" in the kitchens (oil, butter etc) as the milk/OJ doesn't get refilled...

Thank you so much for your beautiful review. It was a pleasure having you stay and meeting you. We really do try not to be intrusive - we figure that our guests chose us because we are semi-rural and desire peace and seclusion, and if they want to be spotted all the time they would stay in a big hotel....
