Driving in the blooming flowers and grazing sheep were a welcomed us and it just got better. Opening the door to check in ,the smell and look of the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies was so inviting ....just could not resist tasting one.The bowl of fresh fruit ran a close second! Our room had a balcony overlooking gardens and countryside,...

My husband and I have spent two anniversary's at Chanticleer and have love it both times. We stayed in a cabin each time and while the cabins are a little more than a traditional hotel stay we feel it is worth every penny. The quiet surroundings, the wildlife, comfortable beds, very clean and the breakfasts are really yummy. The decor...

Beautiful room. We stayed for along weekend getaway and couldn't have been happier with our decision. We stayed in the Stables suite. The breakfast is hand delivered to your suite in a charming basket at your desired hour; not to mention delicious. So quaint and reasonably priced.

The Chanticleer Guest House is a gorgeous property just outside of Sturgeon Bay, WI. With all of Door County nearby for exploration, we had a relaxing and peaceful weekend in late fall. The hosts and staff are attentive and kind. Be sure to take a walk on the grounds, and enjoy the in-room jacuzzis. Breakfast was delicious and we will...

We wanted to go away for a nice relaxing getaway for our 33rd wedding anniversary and I knew I wanted to go to Door County. I looked online and found the Chanticleer in Sturgeon Bay. It looked beautiful online but it did not compare to what we found when we actually got there. The property is breathtaking, especially in October...

I would absolutely stay here again. Beautiful, quiet, comfortable cabins with great views. Still a convenient location outside of the bay with less than a 5 minute drive to businesses, but it feels like I'm in the middle of nowhere. The hosts are so incredibly kind and welcoming. This is their life and passion and it shows. We did have...

We've stayed in many bed & breakfasts and this was among the very best. The owners are helpful, there when you need them, provide ample 'delivered to your room' breakfast baskets, and create space for you to enjoy your stay at this beautiful place. We loved everything from the porch swing at the cabin overlooking the lake and meadow to...

We have visited Door County many times over the years. We've always stayed at the same place on the water in Bailey's Harbor, This time we decided to explore other options and stayed at the Chanticleer Guesthouse in Sturgeon Bay. A beautifully restored farmhouse and barn with several brand-new cabins across the road. When we arrived, we found fresh baked...

Chose The Chanticleer to celebrate our 30th anniversary in Door County, which we hadn't been to in 18 years, coming from Scottsdale, AZ. It surpassed our expectations. Beautiful room and grounds. Tastefully decorated. Having a delicious breakfast brought to our room was a treat.
