My husband and I stayed May 4-5, 2013, at the Chanticleer. I booked the reservation as a suprise gift for my husband's birthday. It was a wonderful stay as per usual! When I first booked the room, I accidentally reserved Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday online. I sent an email and Darrin quickly replied and switched the... More

This was our fourth time to the chanticleer and it was once again amazing. We stay in the cabins every time and they are exactly what we need. Beautiful, private, peaceful, relaxing, romantic, perfect! Normally we explore the peninsula on our trips, but this time we barely left our cabin. Between the beautiful views, the warm glow of the fireplace... More

Back in February of 1995, my partner and I booked a weekend at The Chanticleer to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in 1 of the 4 beautifully appointed rooms of the B&B. Our experience was fantastic. Everything from the cleanliness, to the breakfasts, to the hospitality of the hosts, (Darrin & Bryon), was fantastic. We had the opportunity to go... More

We stayed at the Tamarack Cabin for 3 days-2 nights and everything was perfect. Darrin and Bryon were great hosts and even went the extra step of getting a lovely birthday cake and bottle of wine so I could surprise my husband when we arrived. We absolutely loved our time there. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

We were looking for a cozy and quiet two night get-away and we cetainly found it. The room was very cozy and having a whirlpool tub to relax in on a chilly off-season night was a welcomed change of pace. Chanticleer has very easy access to downtown Sturgeon Bay, just a couple of minutes away, and although it is at... More

We just came home today from our weekend at Chanticleer. I just wanted to say Thank you so much for a great stay. We are already checking our schedules to come back in October. We did not stay at this Inn. We made reservations to stay for our anniversary, but were unable to follow thru on our reservations due to other events in our life. We made the reservation on a Saturday. We tried to cancel on a Monday but were told the fine print upon making the reservations would cause us to forfeit... More

Our reservation policies are clearly detailed on both our website and on our reservation system. Guests who secure an online reservation are required to check a box that states that they have both read, and understand, our reservation and cancellation policies. There is no "fine print" and we certainly do not try to rip couples off. If guests have any... More

The Chanticleer is a lovely property. I stayed in the Hemlock Cabin, so did not experience the individual rooms, but the reception area in the main building was just perfect.
