This is an older place, but is clean and the staff is friendly. I love it that they accept pets, which puts you on the ground floor with a nice view of Lake Michigan. Always a nice stay. Would have played miniature golf had the weather been more cooperative.

First of all, the name is a little deceiving because it is not "on the lake." The lake is across a busy highway. This is an older motel that doesn't look like it's been updated since maybe the 1980's. We could only find 1 outlet in the room that worked and that was by the

I wanted to fall in love with this place. The staff is great and very friendly. The location is nice... but the sites are too close together and you have to cross a major highway to get to the lake. Now I don't mind being snug every now and then but when the next door campers

I don't fish much. If you were to fish on Lake Michigan you'd need a big enough boat, as it's a big lake with large waves and very cold water. You may also want a guide. Otherwise up by Nicolet National Forest in a smaller lake than Michigan if you want to go it yourself.

Do the RV sites have fire rings at each site?
Yes I'm pretty sure there are. We employed a campfire one night while we were there. It's a wonderful place to stay. And the view!!! Wow!
