Stopped in Cody to see the museum and decided to stay at the Irma. Very historic place with lots of character. A bit quiet in the off season, but affordable and clean. We stayed in the new wing. It needs a bit of TLC but the staff was great and we ate in the restaurant twice. Close to everything.

I was so excited about spending the night at the Irma Hotel. They actually have large brass keys for the rooms. Unfortunately we had a room on the first floor adjacent the bar's bathroom. It was a Friday night and the room's location was unacceptable. The short time we were there bar patrons used the facility continuously. We requested another...

Just stopped in for the history while walking around Cody. Lunch was a good hamburger and fixings at a reasonable price. Service was very good and the atmosphere was pretty close to old west. Fun walk around the hotel had some interesting pictures and old items and furnishings around.

The Irma Hotel is a large establishment situated on Sheridan Avenue, Cody. There are several areas within the building. The bar was busy with many of the men in cowboy hats and live music entertainment. They applauded us when we walked in, in a good humoured way. We ate in the smaller restaurant, but there is another restaurant with buffet....

Prior to arriving, we were excited about our stay here, as fans of unique / historic properties. But, we were disappointed by the experience, and left feeling that this hotel is a badly neglected opportunity and more than a little ragged around the edges. We may have visited on a bad day as I note previous reviews have cited great...

My husband & I stayed 2 nights at the Irma. It was a little confusing finding the registration desk. We walked thru what we thought were the front doors off the porch only to find ourselves in a hallway with a staircase and with doors leading into the 2 dining rooms. Asked the girl at the bar in the room...

Registration ok, but rooms on 3rd floor with no elevator. Thankfully the girl on reception gave us a hand with our luggage but it was still a hard slog. Bed comfortable and clean. No fridge or microwave. Bath with shower hose which is handheld, nowhere to affix to wall. No hot water in the morning for bath or shower. Evening...

Hotel is perfectly described by previous visitors...clean, full of character, comfy beds...but please be aware that you need to take a pair of ear protectors with you for the unbelievably loud bedroom radiators. Shocking....

We stayed at the Irma for one night in October, second floor. It was a fun to experience the history associated with Cody. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms have been updated and have an ample amount of towels. Our shower head was leaky but the tub was the perfect size for a soak. The walls...

This is indeed a charming hotel, rather tattered around the edges but clean and interesting. The staff was helpful and friendly. the dining room is big and bustling with energy, full of people but still in keeping with the theme. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
