This ride has beautiful scenery and was a very enjoyable ride. The horses were in very good health and very well behaved. There was a lot of elevation changes and some sections may have been a little unnerving for novice riders but at no point did we feel unsafe. The terrain was the unnerving part, but the horses know what...

My rating is based on how well Bill Cody Ranch appears to execute. It is not a luxury property, but it does a very good job of what it does. This is a good place to stay for a few days if you are fishing, visiting both Cody (great museum) and Yellowstone. It is about 20 miles from the East...

We (father, uncle, cousin, and myself) took a trip out to Wyoming to trout fish and ride a few horses... Well the Bill Cody Ranch was the place to stay based on our desires. Just a few comments: 1) The fishing around the lodge is wonderful on the Shoshone River (North Fork). We caught many trout ranging from 12 to...

My family, consisting of two elementary aged children, and none of us with experience on horses, did the 2 hour trail ride. One of the highlights of our vacation! Great terrain, including creeks, prairie, and mountains. This ranch offered one of the more reasonably priced rides. Staff was knowledgeable, and horses were well taken care of and trained. Tons of...

We didn’t have the pleasure of staying at the ranch, but we booked a four hour ride which includes lunch and departs at 9 a.m. The ranch is located in the Shoshone National Forest. We spent almost two weeks touring Yellowstone and made a side trip to Cody. We toured Yellowstone extensively, but our four hour horseback ride at Bill...

I love this ranch. The staff and owners are very friendly. The cabins are clean. It is a great unplugged vacation. Once you are trail riding you won't be able to tell if it is 1816 or 2016. I plan on visiting again in 2017. First visit was 2011, 2nd visit was 2016.

This was my third visit to the Bill Cody Ranch. My first time was over 30 years ago. My next visit was in 2015 then again in July of 2016. We used the ranch as our base stay while we visited Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. It is the perfect setting. We went on the 2 hour trail ride. The scenery...

Our group of 10 stayed 4 nights. The property was very nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about how nice all the staff there was to everyone. We took the 4 hr horseback ride. Very pretty but hot in July. I was a little disappointed the staff didn't pack more than one...

Went on the 2hr 8:30am ride with my two children (6&8) who have never been riding. Our two wranglers, Zach and John, were perfect! Patient with my kids, extremely helpful and encouraging...scenery was gorgeous (a few dramatic vistas, creeks to cross, some wooded areas), and the horses were all gentle and easy to ride. Overall a great experience. (I suggest...

We stayed here 3 years ago and we were excited to come back. We only had time for 1 night on this trip, but still greatly enjoyed our stay. The food is always awesome. The kids love to hike and explore. We loved listening to the water flowing down the creek as we sat and relaxed after a day of...
