Horrible, if you get an old room. However, I found out at the end of our stay that they have newly, beautiful, renovated rooms. So why didn't we get one???? Please ask for one if you decide to stay here! Otherwise bring a big bottle of Febreze and some major cleaning supplies! The carpet gave me that creepy, crawly feeling!!...

I just read the amazing reviews on here and had to post this because if this is how people really feel about shady hole in the wall motels, then I can't trust ANY reviews on Trip Advisor. We were moving from CO to MT and had planned to drive through the night but our moving truck had terrible lights. So...

We stayed here two nights; the first night was frightful for we are both allergic to plastic and found it on the mattress after being told there was not plastic being use; we came in late, called the number and they came right over...the bed and pillows were very comfy. Now when it came to hot water, yes, there is...

we stay here on our way to Montana. It's reasonable and excepts pets. The restaurant has great food and is also reasonable. Stay here if in Douglas. The rooms are spacious and always clean, and the service is always top rate. The restaurant is within walking distance and it is very homey. It is also large and room for families....

This is the second time we have stayed here during the Wyoming State Fair and found it a great place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Compared to the big chain hotels here you get individual attention.

Great Chicken Fried Steak, so tender you don't need a knife, the mashed potatoes and gravy are great. The salad bar was very small. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Definitely a place to stop and try. The restaurant is west across the street from the motel.

Stopped in Douglas on a business trip for an early lunch. The Plains is open 24hrs!!!! Door is always open. The coffee is good and the food is very nice and reasonably priced. I had a smothered green chili omlette and great black coffee. Yum. The best part is the experience. The history of the building and it's construction is...

I was in town over the weekend for a friends wedding and I will never stay there again, I have never seen so much filth in my life. The bathroom floor and window seal was black with dead bugs, the towels had blood on them and were suppose to be white but they were gray from filth and the side...

Stayed here for three weeks before moving to Glendo. The Hotel was great for the price and the restaurant and bar were right across the street. The Plains Inn was very reasonably priced. It's made of old buildings from different parts of town. The staff was very friendly. This whole town is mad at pipeline workers and treat you like...

Douglas is booming again, the oil patch continues to provide jobs and capital for the local economy. The owners of the Plains are lifelong residents of Douglas and have seen the boom and bust so common in this area. They have build and preserve a bit of the Wyoming past with a love of family and history. This is not...
